when is it a good decision? What position is better? Which player/position is a guaranteed hit? Only 40 or 50 players every draft become good players in the NFL. Which positions and in what rounds are the good ones taken?

Buccaneers signed DT Amobi Okoye to a one-year, $2 million contract.

A former first-round pick, Okoye started 59 games over the past five seasons, and will likely be part of a three-man rotation with 2011 starters Gerald McCoy and Brian Price. Entering his age-24 campaign, Okoye has upside, and is capable of providing an interior pass rush. He registered four sacks in 16 appearances with the Bears last season.

Its almost comical. I still don't think Denver is a ideal landing spot for fa'sbesides pm.

McCoy and Price are both young and have had significant injuries. Okoye was super young when he was drafted and is a good rotational pass rusher. McCargo was just a stupid pick who should've never even gone close to the first round. The 1st round DT prospects this year are all way better prospects than him. You have no point.

What is yours....You never know what the prospects this year will do. IMO there isnt a one that I would touch in the first cept for Cox. I think that all of them have high bust factors on them....For the record McCargo wasn't drafted by TB, was picked by Buff

I think LB is prolly the lowest bust position, especially middle. At least on the defensive side of the ball. Trade down and get Kendricks. Boom!

Lets look at some other teams starters:

                  Ravens: a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd round pick
                  Steelers: 2 1st rounders and a 7th rounder
                  Raiders: 2 1st rounders
                  Jaguars: a 1st and a 3rd
                  Texans: a 1st rounder, a 2nd rounder, and a 5th rounder

what do you see here? Lots of 1st and 2nd rounders? Wow!!! Imagine that!!!

There's reasons why they don't have a top notch unit with all those high picks. Two haven't had a fair chance to prove themselves. One was underdeveloped when he was drafted and is finally showing some ability. The last was just a complete reach. Had no business going that high. Just because you take a first round DT doesn't mean he will be bad. You can't just generalize with prospects and say "first round DTs always bust." You have to look at each player individually.

I don'ty know why people are flipping out about Okoye.

I know we need DT's but that doesn't mean we spend money on a bust.

He has been cut from 2/3 teams and got little to no interest in FA.

He had 4 sacks in a backup role last year. He is like 23 or 24 years old. He was let go after being a starter in Houston because of scheme change. He is no bust, atleast make sure you are well informed.

Chicago letting him go and the Bucs only giving him a 2 mil deal for 1 year says otherwise. His only value is getting a sack occasionally. His run defense is absolutely horrid. And I'm not even sure he's as good as a pass rusher as people think. Mario Williams and Julius Peppers make your job a lot easier.

Chicago didn't let him go, His contract expired and he left through free agency. The guy was a starter for Houston, youngest DL ever drafted at around 19. He is still young and developing. He is no bust. 1 year 2 Million is good money for a backup that is still developing.

This guy is better than Ryan Mcbean. Like i said last year, Okoye will start on the Broncos. I will say the same thing this year. Okoye will start for the Broncos.

Chicago didn't even try to re-sign him though. If they thought he was good, they would have tried. Chicago's DT situation is absolutely horrible. Henry Melton is the only DT they have and he's a converted DE. Matt Toenia and Stephen Paea haven't done anything. And McBean outplayed him last year, both of them had a situational role. Regardless, McBean won't start and Okoye wouldn't start here either.

Also as a 5th year player on your 3rd team when you were a top 10 pick in the 1st round, and that contract from the 3rd team is a 1 year 2 mil flier deal then you're a bust.
