Turbin and Worthy to visit Broncos

Devon Still had very good games against Alabama x2, Iowa, Nebraska, and against almost all the Big 10 teams altogether. Which I consider probably the best conference in all of college football for producing NFL offensive linemen. His bull rush is extremely good, he also has shown the ability to use a swim move at times, but I would admit that it needs work. It's hard to develop other moves when your bull rush is as effective as his. Certain guys really only need one move, he might be one of them. Still also is built extremely well, so the conditioning issues aren't there. To me he's the DT in this class. His injury concerns may cause him to fall a bit, but his production is hard to overlook.

Cox and Worthy are the only two DT's I would want in the first round. The others (besides Still, who I am not quite sold on) are really just high ceiling projects. We need players that can contribute now in some way and have an impact. EFX is thinking Superbowl this year, I would be really surprised to see us draft an unpolished player.

If Worthy and Cox are gone, we will go BPA or try to trade down. The second and third rounds is filled with DT"s that are more so specialists that we could scheme use to help us win right away.

Worthy to me is the most complete DT in the draft and can play both NT and UT...this just opens up so many more disguises on our line when you have a DT like that. Cox you know is a UT. So what is more valuable the greater penetrating skillset from Cox? or the flexibility/versatility and disguise card Worthy brings? Only EFX can answer that question I guess.

I have loved the idea of Turbin since he ripped apart Auburn back on labor day weekend. Saw him in person and he looked very impressive. Granted Auburns run defense was very poor last year but I still liked what I saw out of him. Also liked him in the bowl game.

I may get bashed for this but he is my sleeper pick preference over Martin or Miller. Not saying he is better. I just like taking him in the third over one of them in the second or possibly first. And I think he could be as good.

Thats the one. He was an incredible running back coming out of FSU, but injuries have taken away all of his explosiveness as a runner in the NFL. Still a very good fullback though.

I wonder if Doug Martin in the 1st round or Lamar Miller in the 2nd are planning on visiting Denver as well? Would love to see either one in Orange & Blue. I think there is so much depth at DT in this draft, we can get 2-3 interior linemen after the 1st round pick.

He's just so average. At everything.

He has bad conditioning, nothing about him stands out, he's built like a fat mess, and he's probably the 5th or 6th best DT in the draft. I don't want the 5th or 6th best anything in the 1st round. You're just killing your draft value if you make moves like that. I hope now with Bannan signed we don't look at a DT in the 1st, we clearly didn't put a high priority on DT's last year. I hope nothings changed. WR,CB,S,DT, or RB in the 1st. Only DT I want that high is Still. If we get Still, I'll be okay with it. No other DT's.

Agreed.

However, I wouldn't touch Michael Brockers. He has talent, but he's strictly a 1-year wonder. Also, LSU annually gives the NFL crappy d-line prospects that look good thanks to the talent around them.

I don't really see him as a Boom or Bust player, I see him as a Boom or average player . I think from day 1 Brockers will hold his own against the run, but it could take him a while to become a threat as a pass rusher. I think worst case he would be a bigger version of Bunkley. In many ways I would rather have Worthy or Cox, but if Brockers ends up a Bronco I would not be upset at all.

At first I was Anti-Worthy, until I did some homework on the dude.

Worthy has 4-3 nose tackle anchoring ability, but I would love him as an under tackle in a 4-3, he can penetrate into the backfield with ease and has a high motor.

Yeah I think he is one of the more complete DT's in this draft. I think Bannan would play the nose and Worthy/Warren/Vickerson would all compete for the spot next to him (all four of them will get pretty equal playing time in a rotation).

I'd love to have both of those guys. Worthy has all the potential in the world to an "Elite" DT, and Turbin reminds me alot of RB Greg Jones from FSU.

Just about every other scouting report you can find and game tape disagrees with scouts Inc. I question what insiders are paying for when he is he most hot and cold motor DT of anyone in the draft

Worthy in the first and Turbin in the 3rd sounds very nice
