The Hillman Pick

The only arm tackles I see him breaking are the ones where the defenders come at him at a horrible angle and attack extremely sloppy.

I'm not disputing that he was their offense either. Like I said before I don't like the pick because we already have Knowshon who is in the exact same mold as Hillman.

When was the last time knowshon played?

They got this kid because Knowshon is knowshow...and injury prone.

they need someone who can do what knowshon CAN but doesnt do.

Moreno will be a PUP candidate. He makes next to nothing, so DEN will have time to evaluate the RB situation (Fannin & Hillman). See how they perform, and their health, then make a decision when the time comes.

Hillman, I've read, offers zero pass protection. Cannot block. So it'll be dangerous to have him out there on 3rd downs. We cannot ask him to block, and if he misses an assignment & Manning gets hit... Peyton & Fox will get angry, & in the doghouse he goes.

Not sure what to make of this pick. Don't know much about him. Seems to be quick and can catch.

Just seems odd to grab a running back who can't pitck up blitzes. Opposng teams will know he's running a pattern so they'll send pressure his side.

Maybe none of this matters. Maybe we teach him to block.

Hillman is my favorite pick of the draft...

I still hold out hope for Knowshon, I got his jersey, and I think he is special in open space.

But I've been watching Hillman for the last two years and I live in NC. The kid is the real deal. His cuts are sick and he has an eternal motor. He is the perfect back for Manning.

I think that's true. Also, if Upshaw hadn't slipped then BAL would have taken Wolfe ahead of us in the 2nd.

I still am so pissed PIT grabbed DeCastro. I wasn't getting my hopes up b/c I figured it was obvious somebody would grab him before #25. CIN, NYJ, CHI for sure... Then he falls and finally he's there at 24. I was sold on the idea PIT wanted Hightower, and had to take him b/c they needed an ILB. Then PIT takes DeCastro. NO!

I guess I take Wolfe-Bolden over DeCastro. But still...
