  • C.J. Mosley: Future Denver MLB?

Watching the Alabama game. This guy is good. He's listed around 230 but he's very smooth and athletic and I don't see why he couldn't add 10 pounds and keep his speed.

He can do everything. He can play the run, drop in coverage, and blitz. Great range and instincts.

He reminds me of a player I loved coming out of the draft a few years ago who was a little light but is now solidifying his status as a stud, Daryl Washington for Arizona.

This guy is also a leader. I don't see why he couldn't start at MLB for us for years to come.
    Go Broncos!!!:thumb:

I would take him plus any Bama rb, and any Bama dl as well.

      Texas A&M WR Ryan Swope

I assume everybody is watching this upset-alert game with Texas A&M against Alabama. Do you see #25 on Texas A&M making all the clutch catches and not dropping the football? That's Ryan Swope, the player I mocked to us in my draft. He ran that wheel route for Johnny Manziel (keep an eye on him too) and beat Alabama's defense. He caught the ball over the middle and got hit hard but hanged onto the football. Read my description on him. Ryan Swope = Brandon Stokely. Swope will be a slot machine on our Broncos offense.

Swope is what Decker was in college with a better QB situation.

His run defense is still the main question on where he'll play in the NFL. He's improved against the run this year, but is still not a dominant run stuffer. He's the ideal nickel MLB as he covers well and can make plays sideline to sideline, but you still have to question if he's an ILB or WLB.

i disagree rysan swopeand eric decker are different recievers first thing i'd like to point out decker is 6'3 218 while swope is 6'0 210. i also believe swopes a slot WR while decker can play slot and number 2 spot.

Love him. I want to mock him to us but ive been thinking how he would fit. IMO we have a pretty good set of backers. But if hes was our pick i wouldnt mind.

Both were sure-handed and very technical recievers. Neither has blazing speed or are physical guys. Height is the main difference.

In college decker was a technician, he would run perfect routes and outskill guys to create space. That said yes he did have some jump balls, but in between the 20s him swope are very similar players.

I loved Irving coming out of college. I thought he would be the guy when we drafted him.

The problem is not only hasn't he started there, he isn't even playing there anymore.

If we really thought he was the future at MLB and he's not good enough yet, wouldn't we keep him there to improve instead of switching him to OLB?

                        That's what logic would say.

When he has played this season he's been coming in for Brooking.

When he plays he's relieving Miller, you can tell by his alignment at the end of the line of scrimmage.
