Moreno has been injured to often and has lost the ball in to many key scenarios. I know people will argue that Willis has fumbled a few times as of late as well but Willis always seems to jump right back out there and run with a mission after he makes an error. I simply don't see that type of drive from the other RB's (other than Hillman)
Truth is Slaton is worse when it comes to fumbling and he shrinks worse then anyone on our roster when it occurs. Most of the backs out there either suck, are old, or havent been given a chance to prove themselves (which means they probably wont get a call in the first place). If we sign someone at best all they will be is a band-aide.

Te'o is looking like a top 5 player and we are going to be drafting somewhere near the bottom 5. If you want him it might take this years first plus a 1st from the next 3 years just to move up that far.

As did Jared Crick, if he doesnt do combine drills I could see him falling to the end of the second and third.

        • I've never been a big fan of Jenkins. Werner and Carradine are better

I can see why you think Werner is better, but Carradine couldnt start over a healthy Jenkins but hes better?

Carradine was a JUCO transfer in 2011 and Jenkins just had 13.5 sacks the year before. It would be pretty hard to start a new transfer player over an All-American.

When you watch Carradine you can tell he's is still very raw. Reminds me of Chandler Jones. Hes a long DE, with long arms. Knows how to really use his hands against OTs. The problem with him is he gets upright but because of his strength he can still beat OTs without great technique. The type of DE that I see playing for the Giants. Put him with a great coach and watch him dominate.

Best player sees the field, regardless of when they get there. A Raw potential guy is not better than an All-American

                • I think Moreno will impress people the rest of the season because of him having fresh legs. If we sign anyone else though (which I think we will) we should get a bigger, power back that can make those 4th and 1 runs. Moreno, Hillman and Ball can carry the load but not big enough to pick up those tough yards inside.

Jenkins has had a better collegiate career but once they go to the NFL I think Carradine will become the better player. Thats what I meant earlier. I was looking into how they project in the NFL and I think Carradine and Werner are better than Jenkins. And its not like hes been bad in his first year starting. He has 10.5 sacks this season. Hes someone I see shooting up the draft boards in the offseason.

Well if we are looking at pro-potential then Jenkins is the most versatile. With the ability to play in the 4-3 and 3-4. Also Jenkins has been able to produce as the #1 guy, Carradine has had success as the #2 option.

Carradine also has the versatility to play both schemes. Hes athletic enough to play in 3-4 and has the size and strength to hold up in a 4-3. And I just think because Carradine is so much more raw, he has more potential.

Its rare to come back from a Lisfrank without having lost a few steps and because of that he will not be drafted that high especially after missing nearly the entire season. Hes just lucky it happened earlier rather then later, otherwise held be like Denario Alexander whose injury in the Senior Bowl cost him being drafted despite some saying he was the best WR in the draft before hand.
youre wrong. i tore my lesfranc in my right foot junior season of highschoool and i came back bigger stronger and faster plus had my best season as a senior. its like a 3 month recovery time and i had no lingering effects what so ever.

I would take your word on the subject, but the Lisfranc can only be broken or fractured. It is not a muscle, it can't be torn.
