  • 2013 Official Draft Declarations Thread

This is a thread where I will post a comprehensive list of the underclassmen who have declared their intentions to head to the NFL early. I will try to post links for confirmation as well, and will keep the list updated as frequently as possible. The list will be in this first post and broken down by position, after enough players have declared. I will also try and add the speculative round the talents are expected to go in. Please feel free to add in anything you guys see, and I will update accordingly.

    DECLARED/LIKELY TO DECLARE
DE Brandon Jenkins, FSU (1st to late 2nd)
    link
OT D.J. Fluker, Bama (1st to early 2nd)
    link
DE Bjoern Werner, FSU (1st to early 2nd)
    link
DT Akeem Spence, Illini (2nd to 3rd)
    link

    STAYING/LIKELY TO STAY
QB Logan Thomas, VT (1st to 3rd)
    link
DE Damontre Moore, TAMU (Top 10)
    Link no longer works

Also thanks go out to Requiem from the Orange Mane, as I used a lot of his stuff.

            Sheldon Richardson has declared

Sheldon Richardson, a physically gifted defensive tackle who carries some off-field baggage and injury concerns, has declared his intention to leave Missouri early and enter the 2013 NFL draft. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Richardson definitely has NFL talent. He was a highly recruited prospect out of high school who had 18.5 tackles for loss in two seasons [more]

I know he's a favorite around here, but I didnt know about his suspension.
What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?

As the Co-Leader of the Sheldon Richardson fan Club, i'd love for us to draft Richardson, I just don't believe it'll happen unless we move Wolfe to NT.

He decided that he wasn't going to take punishment for skipping class and got suspended. But while he was suspended he was tweeting good things about his teammates during the games.

As a teammate that would piss me off. You are the best player I want on the field not the internet. I don't know the full details, but if it was just not wanting to do the punishment that is just plain stupidity and arrogance on his part.

Yeah it was as stupid as that. But at least he was cheering on his teammates in my eyes.

Do you think the Jags or the chiefs take a look at Boyd in the second?

I think the Jags draft Smith and the Chiefs draft Wilson regardless of draft order.

Also Boyd shouldn't slip to the 2nd in my opinion. I could see the Jags drafting him, but knowing the chiefs as well as I do... I don't see them doing it.

Wilson is really underrated going into the draft because he lost a lot of weapons this season. They both need QB's, but overall I only like Wilson and Smith early in the draft.

I dont think Barkley is that good. I like Boyd more than him.
