  • Full First Round Mock and Full Broncos Mock

    There will be no trade

    1. Kansas City Chiefs: Geno Smith QB WVU: The Chiefs cannot go into next season without drafting a QB and I believe Smith is better than Barkley.
    2. Jacksonville Jagurs: Jarvis Jones OLB UGA: There is no QB worth taking and they would probably take a FA QB in the offseason or go for a QB in the second round.
    3. Oakland Raiders: Manti Teo ILB ND: McClain will be gone next season and Teo is the best option.
    4. Cleveland Browns: Domantre Moore OLB A&M: The Browns could use a playmaker on defense. Moore will, hopefully give them that playmaker.
    5. Philadelphia Eagles: Luke Joeckel LT A&M: If you have witnessed the Eagles O Line you would know this should be their pick.
    6. Carolina Panthers: Star Lotulelei DT Utah: Panther will be happy if he falls to here and will pick him with plenty of time left on the clock.
    7. Buffalo Bills: Matt Barkley QB USC: The Bills have to give up on Fitz now right?
    8. San Diego Chargers: Jonathan Hankins DT Ohio State: The Chargers need someone to penetrate up front and be a run stopper. Hankins should be able to do this.
    9. New York Jets: Barkevious Mingo OLB LSU: The Jets wont draft a QB. Sanchez is the future, duh. Mingo has great potential and the Jets could use some pass rush.
    10. Tennessee Titans: Bjoern Werner DE FSU: The Titans need a play maker on the D Line. Werner can rush the passer and is stout against the run.
    11. Arizona Cardinals: Tyler Wilson QB Arkansas: The Cardinals need someone who can get Fitz the ball. Wilson is underrated after losing all of his play makers last season.
    12. Detroit Lions: DeMarcus Milliner CB Bama: Detroits CB's are alright, but Milliner could be a special player.
    13. St. Louis Rams: Keenan Allen WR Cal: Amendola is a good player and will catch a lot of balls. However, he is not a #1 receiver and Bradford desperately needs weapons.
    14. Miami Dolphins: Justin Hunter WR Tenn: They need a weapon for Tannehill. They simply dont have anyone who can be a #1 WR. Hunter is a big target and will benefit Tannehill.
    15. St. Louis Rams: Jake Matthews OT A&M: This would be perfect for Bradford if they dont want him to suffer from David Carr syndrome
    16. New Orleans Saints: Sheldon Richardson DT MIZZOU: It seems as if DL is all the Saints have drafted the last couple of year, but it is still an issue. Richardson will help, but he needs to be more of a disruptive force in the run game.
    17. Dallas Cowboys: Chance Warmack G Bama: They need some help on the inside of their O line and I think they reach for a player to get it.
    18. Cincinnati Bengals: Sam Montgomery DE LSU: The Bengas have one of the best pass rushing DT's in Atkins, but they could use some help on the inside.
    19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jonathan Banks CB Miss St: Their pass D is terrible and they gave up one of the best young corners in Talib.
    20. Minnesota Vikings: Taylor Lewan OT Mich: The Vikings need some help on the O line. They could also use DT too.
    21. Pittsburg Steelers: Jon Jenkins DT Ohio State: The Steelers interior D line is aging and this would be their best option. They could also use an OLB to rush the passer.
    22. Seattle Seahawks: CJ Mosley ILB Alabama: Seattle could use an inside Linebacker. Their D is okay, but could be better. I think they would also look at WR, but none would be ideal here.
23.Indianapolis Colts: Eric Fisher OT Central Michigan: If you have watched the Colts you can tell they need a better O line to help Luck.
    24. New York Giants: Barret Jones OG/C/OT Bama: The Giants are a very good team without a glaring weakness. Jones is very good and can play any position on the O line.
25.Green Bay Packers: Giovanni Bernard RB UNC: The Packers have absolutely no run game at all. They have to reach for a running back because they wont get far being one dimensional.
    26. Denver Broncos: Kawann Short DT Purdue: We need help on the interior Bannan is old. Short could start right away.
    27. Chicago Bears: Lane Johnson OT Oklahoma: The Bears will reach for line help or trade down. Their line is terrible.
    28. New England Patriots: Terrance Williams WR Baylor: They dont have an outside threat and Williams would just add to the arsenal.
29.San Francisco 49ers: Xavier Rhodes CB FSU: the 49ers have a very good D, but could use some help at corner.
    30. Baltimore Ravens: Alec Ogletree MLB UGA: The Ravens will need to replace Lewis and Ogeltree could be the man to replace him. He is a playmaker who has gotten in some trouble, but I think he has matured.
    31. Atlanta Falcons: Dion Jordan OLB/DE Oregon: The Falcons cut Ray Edwards and need a young player to rush the passer.
    32. Houston Texans: Matt Ealm S Florida: Elam is a playmaker and would only add to Houstons D. They could also use a S after getting beaten up in pass D lately.

    Broncos

Round 2: Kenny Stills WR Oklahoma: We will need a 3rd WR. Stokely will be gone in a year or two and Caldwell and Willis arent that good.

Round 3: Mike Gillislee RB Florida: Gilly has come up in big games all year. Mcgahee is probably done and we will have to see how Moreno Performs.

Round 4: Jon Bostic MLB Florida: He is fast and has a nose for the ball. He is decent in pass coverage. He would contend for the starting MLB spot.

Round 5: Travis Bond G UNC: It is obvious we need a back up guard. Bond would be the best available.

Round 7: Colin Klein QB K State: We have to get at least some competition for Brock. Why not the hometown boy?

i really like the kenny stills and gillislee pick even though i doubt gillislee is there in the 3rd, i believe he will be a late first to 2nd round pick. im not so sure about the kawaan short and klein pick, short is coming off a slow yr and klein im not sold on but overall its seems pretty good

I like Short and think he has the potential to be a starter in year 1. klein is someone who is underrated on his passing and I think Manning could teach him some things.

I think a couple of runningbacks are rated above Gillislee and I only have 1 getting selected in the first so I think he could fall to us.

Enjoyed your draft. I don't think DT is all that critical of position as some think it is. We have Vickerson playing good and Wolfe, Unrein, Jackson and two young DT's learning the position.
I think Klein is a waste of a draft pick but just my opinion. There will be plenty of UDFA QB projects we will be able to get. I would like to see that pick risk on picking up a really good player coming off a injury, (one of those low risk/ high reward players).

Who would you like the Browns to get? I was going to mock a receiver, but I didnt think there was one who had a chance to go top 5.

Browns should've traded up for RG3 last year. Totally incompetent FO.

Who would I like Cleveland to get? Does it matter who Cleveland gets?!

No matter who they get they will already be so far behind in the division to possibly compete. The team is so lacking in talent that they won't be able to bridge the gap between themselves and the other teams. Not one offseason, not two offseasons, not three offseasons, not four, not five, not six, and not seven.

Each team in the division is well set to replace any talented players that may be retiring. Just look at the Ravens in the mock. Lewis may be retiring ... yet the team is right in the position to find another good linebacker to replace him.

On top of that, the team lacks draft picks because of their decision to select Josh Gordon. The only thing I can think of that would help the team is trading down and gathering draft picks. Hopefully a first and second round pick. Something, anything, they need to gather selections.

Then right now you would be saying that Cleveland was idiotic to trade everything to get a quarterback who under performs.

In Washington Griffin III has Shanahan as head coach, Shanahan's son as an offensive coordinator, top players on offense such as Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Alfred Morris as a running back, two top offensive coaches (as said earlier) and a talented defense.

Why is Griffin III having success? He has coaches that are willing to help him adjust by giving him talent around him that give him a chance to succeed - as a rookie. He'll only get better as he has top notch coaches and very talented players around him.

Cleveland? If Griffin III was in Cleveland who would he have? NOBODY. His top running back would be - WHO? Peyton Hillis? Hardesty?! His top wide receiver would be Massaquoi? He would be a complete failure right now and you would be mocking Cleveland for mortgaging their future just to get a quarterback - with no talent around him. His career would be over before it even began.

Seattle has a very good rookie MLB in Bobby Wagner.

they didn't what they had in Morris until preseason. Talented defense? one of the worst pass defenses in NFL history. They do have a few good players though.

How Cleveland really blew it was drafting Weeden. He is never going to better than average and they will be looking for his replacement in 3 years. So yes...they should have traded up for RG3. RG3 or Weeden???? now that's a tough one........

We are talking theory. The person I responded to said "Hey, Cleveland should have traded up to get RGIII!"

If Cleveland traded up to get RGIII, then Trent Richardson would have never been drafted by Cleveland. So, Peyton Hillis may very well have not been released. Instead, maybe he would be resigned. Or, maybe he wouldn't and Hardesty would be the starting running back for Cleveland.

My post was in response to a hypothetical "what if". So, in "what ifs" the reality that we exist in where Trent Richardson is the starting running back for Cleveland did not happen.

They have much more talented players than in Cleveland. Their linebackers and defensive line are far superior to Cleveland's.

Cleveland should not have drafted a quarterback - PERIOD. They should have given McCoy one more year with talent around him. THey should have drafted offensive line, wide receivers, and running back to help him. They did address many of those - but they made the mistake of selecting a quarterback as well. Instead of Weeden, they should have selected a WR there.
