I'd be fine if we just went with Moreno, McGahee, Hillman, and signed a vet FA like say, Mendenhall or DeAngelo Williams if he got released...

For draft, eh, i wouldn't mind Stefan Taylor or Ball.

That's not an indictment of Ball's receiving skills, more that the Badgers didn't really have a legit QB all season. Danny O'Brien made Tebow look accurate, Joel Stave looked promising before he got injured, and Curt Phillips is, well, a third team QB. The one thing Ball does very well, especially on screens, is set up his blocks. And once he gets into the second level of the defense, he has the ability to take it to the house.

Rashard fumblew way to much. You think people are complaining about McGahee fumbling, Rashard definately isn't any better.

I'm liking the Knowshon/ Hillman combo right now. With Manning we dont really need a true stud RB, we need guys that can pass protect and catch out of the backfield, I've said it all along and I'll keep saying it, Knowshon is perfect for this offense. I say we keep all 3 around if thats an option, then draft a guy with high upside in the 3rd-4th rounds. I think our RB sitiation is fine, I would much rather us draft a real MLB with our 1st round pick, that is our one true weakness!

Not completely he's a capable receiver who will catch the ball when thrown to, but he is far from a dynamic receiver at the position. I think Knowshon and Hillmann are definitely better options in the passing game.

Honestly it would not surprise me if we didn't bring in a RB at all.

Depends on our opinions of McGahee and Knowshon.

Do we believe McGahee has a year or two left? Can he stay healthy?

Do we think Knowshon is a legitimately capable starter for the future? Can we trust him to stay healthy?

Hillman will definitely be back as a change of pace back.

I have a feeling Ball will be back as a ST player and depth back.

We may keep the same 4 for next year and hope we can squeeze another year out of McGahee. Then bring in a RB next year.

The RBs in this draft like Stepfan Taylor and Montee Ball have some tread on their tires as they were the main weapon in their offenses. I love both of them because they are versatile. Taylor is a good blocker who is also a dependable receiver out of the backfield. Taylor doesn't have that explosiveness, but he has good shiftiness and he has good acceleration. Taylor is a patient runner who has consistent good runs. People talk about Taylor's lack of big-play ability; while he doesn't have elite speed (4.55 forty), he is a steady producer as opposed to some RBs with a lot of speed who are inconsistent and fumble. Taylor is a good ball carrier who doesn't fumble every game (exception for Oregon). Taylor fits the mold as a Denver Bronco.

Montee Ball has a nose for the end zone. Ball is a balanced runner in all areas. Ball has he strength to be a good blocker (he was a former linebacker) and he is a steady receiver. Ball is another patient back who runs north and south but has some elusiveness. Ball, IMO, is a RB who Shanahan would love.

i really like the idea of McGahee/Hillman/Ellington next year and then grabing Damien Williams or Todd Gurley to from the future of Hillman/Ellington/Damien Williams or Todd Gurley or i have been playing with the idea of Hillman/Ellington/Burkhead all three give the running ability and passing threat

Moreno is still looking good, has had some tough runs today, still don't know if he can stay healthy...i hope so id love to not have to waste a FA or draft move on a RB if we don't need too

I'd take a 4th - 7th round pick on a RB. After McGahee and Moreno, we don't have quality depth afterward. Hillman is still learning, I don't trust Ball and don't know about Hester.

With the way Moreno is playing right now I don't see a RB in this draft that is an immediate upgrade. Maybe Bernard, but are the Broncos going to use a 1st on him? If I'm the Broncos I'm looking for a little extra depth, but probably not much more. Moreno simply looks like a different back, running with power, speed, he's a great blocker, and a very good receiver out of the backfield. I like what the Broncos have with him, Mcgahee, and Hillman (who will have the offseason and hopefully an injury free training camp to work on his blocking and other things).

Moreno has always looked like a good back to me, its his health issues that worry me. Can he stay healthy? through the playoffs? I hope so...

He has only had that one ACL injury in his career. Moreno isn't injury-prone and fixed his fumbling issues. If Moreno keeps this play going, he will earn the starting role.

They won't be taking a RB high this draft.......

Dennis Johnson, Christine Michael, Cameron Marshall, and Lattimore are all good options late.

He's hurt his MCL in the preseason his rookie year and his 2nd year he had nagging hamstring injuries in both legs throughout the season. And then last year he had the ACL injury.
