Broncos obviously need help in the secondary, but I'm not real familiar with those coming out in this draft and why I will be watching closely in the combine. A couple on my wish list are Manit Te'o LB Notre Dame, the Broncos are getting long in the tooth at the LB postion as well, and Sheldon Richardson DT Mizzou.

After the virtual no-show by Teo in the NC game, I don't know that I'd want him...not unless it was a later round pick. Alabama is the closest thing to NFL sized players Teo experienced in college and he couldn't handle it.

Te'o wouldn't be the right MLB if the Broncos were to take one.

At this point there are 3 teams in the AFC who have proved themselves a major threat to Denver. NE, HOU, BAL. All 3 times Denver has lost to these teams it has been because of their passing attacks chewing up Denver.

Denver needs speed and coverage ability, especially versus TEs, with their LBs.

That could be true, however it is very hard to find great cover guys. Lets face it, the rules of the NFL have made it virtually impossible to effectively cover anyone.

The key is one of two things against teams like NE.

It is providing consistent pressure and pushing the pocket so the QB does not get comfortable in his reads. The other factor is confusing the QBs with multiple coverages. Breaking down communications on the OL and the WRs.

There is a direct correlation with these communications. They have shown what happens when you send 5+ at QBs like Brady. He kills the blitz. Why? Cause he anticipated them and the WRs and TEs and OL are all on the same page.

The key is providing enough pressure with 4 rushers and trying to create confusion in coverage. The Broncos do not have a NASCAR pass rush like the Giants. Therefore I wish they would run a 3-4. Where you can run different blitz packages from different places. Is it garunteed? No.

The age of defense is finished in the NFL and it is Goodells dream league now. Catering the young and the Madden players. Pin ball machine scoring.

What does it say to us that if any offense last week scored 28 points, they would have all lost. These are play off caliber defenses. Broncos ranked second. It was a record breaking week in terms of over all scoring.

End of the first is PERFECT for my boy CP from Tennessee, i think of the big 3 (bray, hunter, patterson) he is the most ready to make an impact post vols. He's fluid, explosive, fast, deceptive, tough, has great size, good hands, AND can return kicks like nobodies business.

i cant think of a player i want more in the late first. and we should be in range to get him.

I would love to see the Broncos find a way to get Minter and Lacy

Probably have to trade up to get one of them in the 2nd
                Go Broncos
