Do what you do. I'll say this much though, usually when a player have a youtube video, it's usually a highlight video, unless the author does both highlights/lowlights. In Bolden case it wasn't a lowlight video, but it wasn't impressive at all. Like I said, I never saw Bolden play in College so youtube was the best reference for me to get an idea of what type of player he is, and I wasn't impressed at all and I don't think he was worth a 4th rd pick.

CB isn't a HUGE need.

- Harris to S, no, he proved he's more than capable of playing outside or nickel CB.
- Carter played about as well as a #3 CB could play this year.
- Despite the Ravens game, Champ had a very solid season, and is a top 10 CB still today.

Now, i wouldn't mind adding someone in the draft like Trufant or Rhodes, someone in the 2nd-4th rounds would work too if they go in a different direction in the 1st. Provided they don't get someone via FA either.

I pray to god we don't get Revis, would be beyond stupid. He's wanting to be near the top paid players in the league, and we'll need to give that type of deal to Miller in a few years hopefully among some other players too who need new deals...

I agree with this 100%. I think CB is a need, but not a demanding one. If a CB is the best player available when we draft I would have no problem taking one, but I would prefer to take one in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I love Revis as a player, but it seems like he holds out every offseason. Considering the draft pick compensation and contract it would take to land him I just dont think it is worth it. Even if we are in "win now" mode I still think it is a bad idea.

I wouldn't write off Bolden just yet. When training camp opens he should be in great shape after an offseason in an NFL conditioning program and being two years removed from his knee injury. You might not be high on him, but it appears Elway and company are. Elway even went as far as saying that he expects Bolden to compete for a starting job next season. Now I'm not saying we should expect him to take the #2 job and move Harris to the slot, but I think it is far too early to call him a bad pick.

All the fans who instantly judge a player on their first couple years don't understand much about building a roster, bolden could EASILY improve to be 3 times the corner he was his rookie year just as Chris Harris and tony carter did. Any player can always improve if they work for it

I'm all for drafting or getting a good CB in FA (I've always thought DRC was an outstanding talent, but he's stupid like his bro n doesn't work hard to be as great as he could be) but anyhow ...I'm all for adding someone, but it'd be hard to find anyone who could replace any 3 in our trio IMO

When the receivers are getting faster, stronger, and more numerous how can you say we don't need CB help. Champ may retire in 1 or 2 years, Harris can be a good #2 but a great 3, Carter a good #3 but better dime. At the end of the day we need the best 11. At CB, I say Champ, a young promising CB at #2, and Harris are our best 3 options. Bolden may even take Carter's spot in all honesty. And when Champ retires, we'll have the young stud, Harris, and Carter/Bolden as 1, 2, 3. This is about the future of the franchise, not just the present. John Elway knows this, why do you think we took Brock Osweiler in the second AFTER we got Peyton. As for S, we don't need MORE inexperienced youth back there, think about what you're saying. Smh.

I agree. The assessment on Chris Harris is false. After being inserted in as a starting cb he was easily our best cb the second half of the season. I love everyone that says they don't want revis cause of his contract lmao so you don't want a guy who if he continues to play at his elite level will retire as the best CB to ever play the game. Right I would easily make that decision to get him

The Jerry Rice just said on NFL Live that a good fit for Revis would be the Broncos. He said that pairing Revis up with Chris Harris and Tony Carter would be a good move. He said that it would give us another shut down CB and that Champ is getting old and a little long in the tooth.

I would hate this move, mainly because of the financials, but Roland is definately a concern in my opinion.

But Boldin is slow as hell and not a great route runner, Champ shut VJax down to 3rec for like 30yds, Andre Johnson to ONE CATCH for 10yds, Josh Gordon 0 catches, Dwayne Bowe to nothing twice (granted without a QB), Steve Smith of CAR to like 2 catches

I've not said anything about Champ being bad at all. All I said was that if someone was to be replaced between Champ and Harris it would be Champ and that's because of age not talent.

Another thing is that because Champ shuts down almost every one, the QB tends to throw towards the other guy so the fact that Chris is probably the only corner to play consistently great opposite Champ indicates how talented the guy really is.

Also, to just throw the achievement of Harris shutting down Boldin without a catch for the first time in 5 years or so down like that because Boldin is "bad" and "slow" is really selling Harris short. If Boldin is so bad and slow why is Harris the only guy to do it in years?

Sure he is "Extremely Underrated" and possibly the best nickel corner in the league but he's also emerging as one of the best corners in the league full stop. Sure I may sound like a total homer but no-one else here is giving him the break he deserves.

That completely leaves as an FS, why would we do that?

In base, the FS can still come up and press cover. Even as a CB, Harris did not always play press as we use quite a bit of off man and zone coverage schemes. The most effective way to run a defense imo is to be able to hide coverages. Harris' ability to play press from a FS position would only allow us to disguise coverages more. If we have a man free coverage call, Moore can be the one in CF or Harris, that is the point of having interchangeable guys at safety.

I think the talent to play press adds to Harris ability to be a great FS, not detracts from it. Most FS can not play press as they can not turn and recover.

I think we ought to fortify the CB position this year since IMO it is a good year (draft wise) for CB's.
