  • Should the Broncos consider The Honey Badger?

Should we consider drafting the Honey Badger in spite of his off the field troubles? He's obviously a talented player and with the right locker room around him, he could be a star. The question is, does he fit in in Denver?

He never projected as a number 1 CB. He doesn't have the best top end speed and is 5-9, which isn't ideal. He can return punts and could probably be a very good nickel corner. 4th or later would be ok.

The Right locker room isn't going to matter if he doesn't want to change his ways. I would say no to the honey badger.

Repeatedly failed drug tests at LSU, kicked off the team, then arrested for possession (along with possible intent to sell) a month after completing drug rehab... I would be absolutely shocked if he was on our draft board.

I don't want him anywhere near this team.

Yes they should consider everyone, NO I doubt if they give him serious consideration.

I really love the player ...but we already have our nickel guy in Harris n that's what Mathieu is best suited for

Not necessarily, I'd like to see Harris on the outside more even in nickle sets. A guy like Mathieu would allow him to do that.

Just because harris played in the slot does not make him only a slot player. He was just our best option to put there. The honey badger would upgrade our secondary big time imo. It just depends on his off the field problems.

My thoughts, but having both wouldn't hurt.

Harris would be good on the outside, but he is without a doubt one of the best nickel corners out there. We should keep him where he excels.

I know you don't call yourself a Bronco fan anymore, but a closet fan is still a fan. You don't have to say "you guys" every time you post.

If we get him on the third day then who cares.....Those are the throw away picks anyways. Let him come. If he is like Clarrett then we cut him in camp and we are out nothing. If he conforms that we get a steal of a player. Right now he is depth but I could definitly see him developing into a solid to good corner.

I dont worry about him in the locker room cause he will be sitting in a meeting room with a future HOFer, and he has guys like PM and Foxy there as well....I think a small risk like this would be fine

A 5'8" CB, I'll pass. They don't generally pan out, there are better CBs available later in the draft.
