If Werner is there I would live to take him his stock has fallen due to a slow 40 but on tape he is a beast and would give us another pass rusher on defence

Man, it's so many ways we could go, but I think OC Travis Frederick has a strong chance of being the pick. I'm not sure where we are, or will be with the Cap next year, but with some key re-signing needing to get done next year (Woodyard, Harris, Decker, and possibly Clady, DRC, and Ayers depending on how he does with the chances he gets) i'm not convinced that we would re-sign JD.

I was thinking this as well. Elway wants to run a power scheme and wants to be able to ram the ball down people's throats and a big boy like this would do just that with our new RG

          QB - NO
RB - No value at pick
WR - Depends on if they plan on paying both our guys.
TE - No, our guys are still young and here for two more years.
OT - Yes, but I do not feel Clady gets long term deal.
          OG - No
          C - No
          DE - Likely
DT - Likely unless Bannan re-signs.
OLB - Maybe if they plan to move Von to RDE in future.
MLB - Doubtful, we have 7 LBs already, but if they love Teo it could happen.
CB - Likely, most teams carry 6 and Champ and DRC could both be gone in a year.
          S - Highest probability imo

I see us doing one of three things:

          1. Trading up to get a LT
          2. Trading down and taking a S and LT with 1st 2 picks.
          3. Staying put and taking a CB/S

Carter is a RFA actually next year.

I agree we need a long-term solution after Champ but we need someone to make an impact NOW.

                  Or Barrett Jones?

But yeah, we have a LOT of key players up for new deals in the next couple years, some are probably gonna have to be let go.

Fisher, Joeckel, Johnson are the only real top LT's.

After them, it gets real, real thin.

CB or S is possible, but do teams carry 6 CB's?

I suppose MLB could get a look too, i do think they will take a long look at Te'o if he's there at 28.

I agree with crash, i think outside of RB and maybe OG/C, this will be a heavy defensive draft.

I think we have covered enough holes to contemplate moving up and jumping in front of SD for Johnson or taking Terron Armstead at #28. I really do not see Armstead as a reach at #28, he could go higher.

I have gone through this before, but the hardline we are taking with Doom has me even more convinced a long term deal will not get done with Clady. Elway assessed his value, offered him a contract and Clady said no. I do not see that sitting well with Elway. Then Clady says he will sign the Tag later, another snub towards the team.

Not saying this will happen, but if we get Johnson and he performs well in camp, Clady gets dealt this summer. If not he plays under tag.

We all know the guys we need to resign next year. Clady's demands pay for Decker, Beadles, and Harris all by itself.

Lacy in the first would be unnecessary and a flat out bad move. The talent gap between Lacy and someone like Le'Veon Bell isn't big enough to pay him 1st round money, he isn't a game-changing, DOMINANT RB. And before anyone starts railing on about how he is, any back could look good with the o-line he had in front of him.

I don't think a cornerback early would be as out of the question (after we got DRC) as some. For all we know DRC ends up continuing to purely rely on his natural abilities which in turn results in average to inconsistent play. Unless he turns his **** around we can NOT count on him. Chris Harris is a monster, no one is unseating him (or Champ). Tony Carter played really really well, but he struggles with big physical receivers (love the kid but he's 5'9 180) and isn't a long term solution. The staff seems really convinced Omar Bolden is going to get some playing time, but he looked a little lost in coverage last year.

There are still a few question marks, and a scarcity of long term answers (C. Harris not included) at the CB spot.

Could definately see a Safety in the first 3 picks.

                          Hmmm...

QB - maybe a late round guy - still need 2 more camp QBs
RB - Don't think we solve this in FA at this point - so yes, but we are not desperate.
WR - maybe a mid-round if someone we like is there
TE - last year's FA and JT and Green are enough (Welker time now as well)
                          OT - depth guy?
                          OG - depth guy?
C - Doubt it, Koppen to backup Walton might be a good idea again.
DE - YES, Hunter gone and Doom won't be here past 2013 season
DT - How many more can we carry...
OLB - Possible - hybring OLB/DE pass rusher. As above.
MLB - YES, let's bring in a guy to build around - high character, leader, good coverage/tackle (not too hard to find
                          CB - No room
S - YES, we could take Elam at 28 if we don't grab a vet soon

With Quiton Carter getting in some trouble with the law could probably easily end up taking Elam at 28 then draft a running back 2nd or 3rd

Eddie Lacey in the first, John Simon in the 2nd and Brian schwenke in the 3rd would be what I would like to see

Damn just read that about Quinton..l

Thazza lot of felony charges, honestly didn't know about his possession charge in '11.

Now i'm almost certain we take a safety in the 1s or 2nd.
