  • What to do in the draft....

What a day yesterday, i posted something similar in the thread about Free Agency, and whatnot.

I have no clue what we'll do in Round 1.

    QB- Doubt it
RB- Possibly but i could see it addressed later.
WR- Unlikely but imagine Austin with Welker, Decker, and Thomas
TE- This is a spot i could see us go, Tamme/Dreessen are good but not-game breakers.
    OT- Doubt it
    OG- Doubt it
    C- Doubt it
DE- Possible even if we keep Doom.
DT- Even with Knighton/Vickerson, very possible, loaded, LOADED DT's in this draft.
MLB- Still say if Te'o is there at 28, they may take him.
CB- Probably not, but if somehow Rhodes fell or even Trufant, that's tough to pass up.
    S- Possibility.

    Should be real, real interesting.

I'm hoping for Eifert in the first, then address dline, cb, rb, and maybe safety.

i still think we draft in no certain order CB RB DT WR OL..

we need depth behind DT n decker n def CB champs not much longer n DRC on 1 yr deal...RB WM moreno n possibly signing turner arent the future need some one to go w/ hillman...DT as stands now only have vick knighton unrein whove played alot young guy will help w/ rotation n in future...

QB - Definitely not after spending a 2 on Os last year.
RB - Good chance, but 28 is a slight reach for Lacy IMO.
WR - Unlikely since the 4th WR would have to be primarily a ST player. Not a good 1st round investmentwhen we already have DT, Decker, and Welker.
TE - Maybe, but I doubt it. I think Eifert will be gone already, but maybe Ertz...
OT - No value left here, so I highly doubt it.
OG - Definitely not if Cooper and Warmack are gone.
C - No. No value here either.
DE - Very possible considering the stand off with Doom.
DT - Most likely IMO. We have Vick, Knighton, Unrein, Wolfe (sort of), and not a lot else. We're not done adding DTs.
        OLB - No chance.
MLB - Quite possibly if they fall in love with one of the big 3 (Ogletree, Minter, Te'o), but the signing of Bradley makes me doubt it.
CB - No chance anymore IMO. Bailey, DRC, Harris, Carter, and Bolden is a nice set of 5 already.
S - Possibly. I could see us taking a guy like Cyprien, but I still think the FO wants to see Moore and Q. Carter as the long term duo.

          I have no clue...

Just the BPA at the moment is who we'll take.

I like the approach we are doing, building through the draft while adding solid talent to win now for Peyton Manning. When Peyton leaves, we'll most likely be right where we left off.

I hope we add Elam or Cyprien though. Would like more competition in the Safety position.

IMO we should trade up. We do not have a lot of holes now. Being contenders allows us to take the gamble IMO. Whoever the FO likes can be had now. BPA is the best bet if we dont target a guy and trade up.

I would say DE or DT seem the two most likely. Fox is known for falling in love with 1st round running backs so Lacy I guess could be the choice but I think they still want to beef up the DL some more especially if Doom walks.

I think we should trade our 1st rd pick for a 1st next year and a mid rd pick this year. This draft is deep with mid tier prospects. After all these signings do we really have the roster room for all these draft picks. Stockpile picks for the future would be sweet.

We still have plenty of holes.

RB, DE, DT, LB and S are still needs right now, maybe TE too.

Trade up as long as it cost the farm sure, trade the farm, no way, not many players worth it.

I don't see how CB is a need for NOW.

                    Champ, DRC, Harris, Carter, Bolden.

                    Do teams carry SIX CORNERS?

We do need a long-term replacement for Champ but i'm not sure if we take one now.

I expect to see a HEAVY defensive draft outside of a second round pick on montee ball or Le'veon Bell. Wouldn't be surprised to see pass rushers and CB as the focus. The more guys we can get to go after the QB the better!
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

CB? They drafted Bolden last year. I can see a CB, but high? Where's he gonna play this year?

I can see it only because Tony Carter and DRC are FA's next season. Harris is RFA and Champ will be a year older.

You can never have enough cb especially nowadays. Not high but in the first 4 rounds I could see happening. Injuries do happen and with young good cb we could play champ at safety in SUM sub-packages
