What? Lucas didn't block? That is basically all he did last year. Everytime I watched a game with my lobo buddies all Lucas did was block. I really believe he will at least make the practice squad and if one of the TEs gets hurt watch out cause this kid has the tools to be great.

No, I am not a fan of the sorry lobos. Some of my buddies down here are though so I have to endure in watching S to the T football. It doesn't matter who coaches the lobos they will still suck. Even "The Genius" as Rex Ryan calls Belichick could not pull the lobos out of suckville.

Read more carefully. Lucas Reed didn't block much in Mike Locksley's offense. Locksley was fired during the 2011 season. Last year was Bob Davie's first year and they ran the heck out of the ball from the Pistol formation.

There was an article in the DP, by Klis I think, about how Reed said blocking in the Pistol in 2012 did him a lot of good and made him an all around TE.

You ought to inform yourself about UNM coaches. They don't all "suck". Rocky Long was forced out in order to bring in Locksley who was a train wreck. Rocky is an innovator and one of the few to use the 3-3-5 D which he learned from Joe Lee Dunn, another UNM coach. With Bob Davie now, the Lobos are pointed in the right direction.

Since, I have been in Albuquerque NM neither the lobos football team or basketball have been that good. Basketball team never makes it passed 2nd round of tournament. Football team seems to have losing record every year. Like I said before, I am not a lobos fan but watch them because of some friends that are die hard lobo fans.

Since Joe Morrison in 1980, the only truly dreadful Head Football Coaches at UNM have been Mike Shepherd and Mike Locksley, with the latter being almost more horrible than anyone can possibly imagine. Franchione and Long's combined tenure from 1992-2008 was a good era for UNM Football.

The Lobos had a great basketball team last year... The were upset in the Tourney yes but they were a good team. I don't really know if you're actually watching or just hearing what other people say?

That was brutal. Win MWC and the MWC tournament; lose in the first game of NCAA Tournament; lose the HC.
