  • Another guy I really like is Eric Ebron TE UNC, we love our 2 TE sets and when Peyton leaves they will probably be used heavily with Brock to maximize his time. Ebron is big, fast, and can block. There were times he went 1v1 vs clowney and won. Partner him with JT, and maoe virgil a FB, like Reece in oakland, and it would create even more matchup nightmares.

Sutton is a first round talent even with his size so I would be happy walking out of the draft with sutton in round 1, Swanson in round 2
Most reputable scouts have him as the 2nd best DT. I dont think he has the burst to be a good DT/DE IMO. Tuitt at least has the burst

C.J. Fiedorowicz and Amaro are more impressive to me especially where they are ranked

I don't think he has the size or talent to start right away in the NFL but was statistically the best pass rushing DT in college football last year
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

            • Sutton plus Williams could be a great interior for us down the line. Sutton has Geno Atkins potential, IMO.

CJ is a better blocker and but isnt as good at getting separation but when he gets the ball hes harder to take down. Amaro is as good if not a slightly better blocker who is equally talented at getting separation but hes not as crisp of a route runner but beside that I think his upside is better

With DT's height isnt as important as ability to get leverage, and I am not sure but he seems to have fairly long arms and combined that with his size and he can actually get better leverage then most DT's

                  • Am I the only one that wants us to draft a quarterback in the 2nd round? I don't think we can solely rely on Brock to take over after Manning. I would have no problem drafting Derek Carr out of Fresno State in the 2nd, although I think he'll go early 2nd.

If Elway and company don't believe that Brock has what it takes to be a successful starter in the NFL than I would have no problem taking a qb early. I wasn't a huge fan of the pick when we made it but I have been willing to wait and see with Brock. He was pretty raw coming out of school so it is hard to judge him playing halves with second stringers. With the massive amount of talent we have developed on this roster I would hate to see us go down the crapper when Manning retires. Hence why I wouldn't be opposed to taking a qb early. If we can get a guy in here that limits the drop off then we have a chance to sustain success and not drop off completely. It is a qb driven league and with the talent we have I hope we have a valid replacement the day Manning hangs them up.

                        • I like Renner a decent amount as a 2-3 round guy and I love Ebron his TE. His oline play has been pretty bad this year and his receivers haven't helped him much. He seems fairly intelligent and I plan on watching him more this year.

I like Virgil Green and Dreesen as our 2nd TE's because they are both solid blockers and have pass catching abilities but I would love to get another monster TE to pair with Julius. A guy like Ebron who is a pretty good blocker and has excellent hands and size would be ideal. With the way we are currently constructed it would be a nightmare to defend us. Julius and a guy like Ebron would be too difficult for most lbers to cover. I like Ebron more than Lyria and I think he is a better blocker at this stage.

                          • I like Kenny Guitton as he has good decision making skills but his arm strength has a lot to be desired which is why he wont be drafted. Johnny Football is probably the best but many do worry that immaturity will cause his teammates to not trust him.
Still I doubt guys like him or Aaron Murray will get drafted by Elway unless he changes his mind of what a QB should be. Though the best candidate would probably be Mettenberger, he seems smarter then Brock and can make nearly every throw, he will go up if he continues playing the way he does. Carrs redzone efficiency though is almost already at the same height Brock had in an entire year (3 TD's away)

That said I doubt we draft a QB. Heck we may wait as long as it takes Jameis Winston to be eligible
