Lets bring McGahee back for 820k (vets min) plus incentives for holding on to the rock.

Some will flame but in the end when you look at the current stable of backs, do you honestly feel comfortable going into a potential 19 game season with the current group.

At some point Moreno will run out of gas and get hurt, McGahee is proven and if he protects the ball can be a major asset in both the running attack and passing game.

Cut Lance Ball and make this happen before another team takes advantage.

Fans often completely over look the business side of football. The broncos made a business decision to cut McGahee. When your unemployed, your ego slowly goes away. If your McGahee and could run with a base of 820k and with incentives have the possibility to make 1.8 to 2.2 mil for the year why would you not jump at that opportunity especially with a serious contender whos system you already know?

I agree. Sometimes the fans take it harder then the players.

The issue is the brass looks at it as swapping an older RB for a younger one with a nose for the end zone. By bringing back WM that would surely stunt their growth and show lack of confidence in the young bucks, early on. Therefore, we are back in the same situation where KM and WM are our best choices but then RH and or MB rides the pine. The question then becomes, why did we draft MB to begin with.

It's a gamble, no doubt. Only way to find out is to play the games. Personally I do not expect huge great things from RH or MB until the end of the season once a routine is established. But I do expect these guys to make some key plays in key situations.

I do not think we will have the luxury of brining back WM in week five , as all so often injuries happen and RB don't always go according to pla. Who knows he could be a pat, giant, or CFL rushing leader by then.

McGahee probably is not 100% recovered from that broken leg, otherwise he would be on a roster at this point. No one has signed him yet, which says a lot about his current health. Several teams could improve their depth at RB with a healthy McGahee.

This. We have other options besides Hillman. I kind of don't even think we should keep Hillman at this point, unless it's for STs and change of pace.

He can't break tackles, can't block, didn't break off too many big runs and I'd take Lance Ball over him.

There's now way in hell Ronnie Hillman is our starting back come week 1. He's not as good as Moreno or Ball. Those two can handle the load just fine. Lance Ball's always been solid when he gets carries and he can block. He doesn't fumble. Hillman does the opposite of all 3.

Lance Ball has consistently been awful when he carries the ball. He's been just as bad blocking. He's at his best catching passes. Montee is not on hillmans level in pass pro yet.

Lol, I would take that bet. He's not going to be the starter. It will be Moreno or Montee. And yes, Montee is already on Hillman's level at pass protection. Hillman isn't that good.
