Where's the link that backs up the claim that Ingram is on the block? Last I heard he wanted out but I haven't seen anything about the Saints willingness to deal him.

Per CBSSports.com's Jason LaCanfora, Saints running back Mark Ingram may ask for a trade out of New Orleans. We break down the fantasy implications.
With his skill his contract and his lack of desire to stay they would likely be open to offers
Though the saints are not currently willing to trade him according to the coach but it would not be the first time a coach says something and does the opposite. If the right offer came along they would take it

Ok, so it's all rumors at this point. As expected, Payton is denying them.
Sean Payton shoots down Mark Ingram trade rumors
Mark Ingram isn't going anywhere.
New Orleans coach Sean Payton denied a report from CBS Sports that suggested the third-year Saints running back is seeking a trade. Payton said Sunday night it was "completely false" that Ingram might be shopped, telling The Times-Picayune that the report had "zero credibility."
Ingram didn't play in Sunday's 31-7 trouncing of the Arizona Cardinals because of a toe injury.
Stationed behind Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles, Ingram -- with 31 yards on 17 attempts this season -- hasn't lived up to his first-round draft status. He's the type of back who, at Alabama, grew stronger as games progressed, but that was college. In theory, he's a bell cow. In reality, his 1,107 yards in 28 appearances hardly suggests featured-back material.
It's possible a change of scenery would do wonders for Ingram. But that hasn't been the case for Chris Ivory with the New York Jets, and the Saints don't sound interested in moving another runner. Ingram's best move, for now, is to make the most of the opportunities he's given. My other love...

In the NFL no player is safe and every team has a price in mind for that specific player. If a team makes an offer worth taking they will trade him.
