Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Can Martin block for Manning? We are a passing team and need RB for a change of pace, but he must protect Manning!
As late as we draft I think it would at least take a 1st and a 2nd or 3rd to get him into a Broncos uniform.
Doug Martin's a beast. People saying he is overrated are nuts. Last season he was a rookie, on a team QB'd by Josh Freeman and still looked real good. I would gladly give up a First and one of our backs or a later round pick. I don't think TB will trade him though.
Freeman wasn't that bad last year, he did throw for over 4k yards and 27 TDs.
I can't find a link to anything online to this anywhere.
this just seems like something taken out of context.
Most likely is taken out of context...the Bucs would be stupid to trade Martin. He's a complete back, he's really talented, he's young, he's durable, he's the consumate professional, etc....

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!
In all honesty the majority of Doug Martins successful runs are on 3rd and long. We rarely even use Moreno on 3rd downs as a runner and as a receiver which is more important to us Moreno has been more of a threat.
Yes like with all RBs it's about the line and and the D you face but Moreno serves us better right now because of his versatility. That said Martin has huge potential but chances are the bucks wouldn't be stupid enough to trade him. He's cheap and he's a hard worker and the current admin drafted him

When I First saw this thread I thought it was going to be worthless
But now that I've seen so many of you offering up different combination of players and draft picks, it might actually fun to go back and look at once Ball and even maybe Hillman establishes himself in this league. And if KnoMo finally stays healthy
I don't think we should give away any of our backs for Doug Martin and I highly doubt Elway is going to toss high draft picks around like they're nothing. Elway said he's going to 'build through the draft'. We have 3 good backs some whom have very high ceilings 2 of whom haven't yet shown their potential yet.
But yeah might be fun to come back and look at this tread in a couple years. I love Doug Martin. But I see bigtime potential in Ball and Hillman and KnowMo has never looked better this early in a season. I dunno why he didn't play much of the 2nd half on Monday except since we had a comfortable lead the coaches might have wanted to get the young guys some experience.
Anyhow, TB isn't going to move Martin - and Denver wouldn't give up nearly what Martin is worth so ..........
The beatings will continue until morale improves....
