  • Would you accept this trade?

I wanted to reach out to Bronco Country and get their honest opinion.

Would you trade Von Miller for JJ Watt?

With Von's jaded past and being one step away from a year long suspension, would you consider it?

Just wanted to open it up to some friendly discussion. :thumb:

Personally, I think Von is a better player and has a higher ceiling in regards to all around talent but his troubled track record is becoming worrisome.

I don't think the Texans would do that, but I would definetly consider it.

HOU doesn't make that trade. You don't trade the leading sacker from last year, for a guy who's dangerously close to being out of the NFL

No, I think Watt's pretty much a one trick pony and Miller can do more as a OLB/DE. I think Miller made his mistakes and now will straighten up his act and be the best defensive player on our team. Once he returns you will see a much better defensive team in Denver.

I love Von but Watt is the best defensive player in the league. He put up ridiculous numbers from every spot on the dline. I would make that deal even without Von's legal woes, but I highly doubt Houston would.

How is Watt a one trick pony? He led the league in tfl, sacks, and pass break ups. He is a monster in the pass and run game and allows every other player to get 1v1 matchups.

Watts had a monster season but OC have figured him out early this season. He sure doesn't appear to have the stats he did last year. Just my opinion, but I would still take Miller (on the field) over Watt. I know the suspension have soured a lot of people on Von. I think it is way too early to give up on him. In 15 yrs we will look back and be glad this trade never happened. JMO though.

I'd trade for Watt all day over Miller, with or without Miller's off the field problems. Watt is the best defensive player in the league and it's not even close. If he doesn't get to the QB, it's almost a guarantee he will bat the ball in the air and most of those turn into turnovers. Watt can rush pretty much anywhere on the d-line and do it better than anyone else. He is amazing.

Yes, but no way Houston makes that deal.

I might, but I don't think it's as cut and dry as some of you would make it out to be. JJ is awesome, but he does one thing really well. Von, troubles aside, he can play the run, drop into coverage, and is as good of a pass rusher as you'll find.

It' probably has a lot to do with us not seeing Von play since last year. He's exciting as heck to watch but you forget that with him being gone so long.
