  • Erin Henderson MLB please

Eric Henderson MLB was released today for his 2nd DUI...He is a very good MLB and only 27 yrs old...He is a tackling machine and will be on the CHEAP...Just what we need...He will probally have a small Susp...Would really help our team being a true 3 down MLB that is young and talented

    What do ya all think

Henderson is awesome, and I would love to see him on the Broncos. He would fill a huge need for this team.

All the reason why he shouldn't be a Bronco.

He is a potential beast I wouldn't mind bringing him in on a 2 year incentive laden deal with no guaranteed money that way if he has not learned his lesson and makes another boneheaded mistake we are out nothing.

I just do not see Irving as the solution as middle linebacker. now if Miller moves to DE and Irving starts at SOLB I could see him starting and being effective that way.

And we've wasted the resources and time building our MLB position around a guy that's not smart enough to stay out of trouble when millions of dollars are on the line. He's a good player, but he's no Von Miller. He's not worth the risk. Elway doesn't invest in high risk players that are about to be banned for one year minimum on their next offense. Von at least came in with a clean record. He's just been an idiot since.

Thats why he will be on a 2 year deal with no guaranteed money what do we lose if he does mess up? To me this is a low risk high reward scenario. If he screws up we are out nothing on the other hand he stays out of trouble than we have a really good MLB for cheap.

This guy could shore up the middle and we havent had that since Big AL....

Sounds great ! I'm not going to look down on a man for the mistakes he made in his life .. I just want him to be a better option than Lenon and hope that the mistakes he made in his life fuels him to do better and if not .. Its a marginal investment

Irving has had 3 years to step up and claim the MLB spot. You guys should stop holding your breath, the guy is just not that good. Don't get me wrong, I wish he was. But it's pretty darn clear that the FO does not think he's the answer at MLB. He'll be a serviceable backup and special teamer while he's on the roster. We need a real solution for the middle of our defense. That being said, I'm still not that giddy about the prospect of signing Henderson. If we did I wouldn't be too upset though...

There's no way we are going to sign him though. Not after all the hoopla we went through last year with DUIs. The FO was really embarrassed by those incidents, and will not be looking to being in anybody who might add to that unfortunate legacy. Not gonna happen.

I'm on the Irving bandwagon dude. I think he has the physical tools to be a stud MLB. He just needs to grasp the mental side of it. I think he could end up being the best MIKE we've had in a long time.
