He's not that talented and only experienced a revival because of all the weapons on the outside. As talent goes Hillman is more agile, he runs faster and has better vision. Receiving goes to Moreno just because we haven't seen Hillmans hands yetJacksonville Jaguars Broncomania GM:

IMO, Hillman being drafted in the 3rd rd instead of the 1st or 2nd are because of 2 things. 1.) He went to San Diego St. So i'm pretty sure that Conference has questionable talent, especially when you compare it to the SEC ACC etc etc. 2.) Hillman was 5'9 185 when he was playing in College (he gained weight for the Combine 200 lbs). That's too small to be drafted in the 1st or maybe even the 2nd rd in the NFL unless you have Chris Johnson speed.
You said Moreno has had more playing time and more success. Well, more playing time equals more chances to succeed. So at this point, that's obvious. I think you have it wrong. Moreno isn't more talented that Hillman, he's more dependable. Hill showed improvement as a runner and blocker, he just got the case of the droppsies.
I believe if we give Hillman another chance, he will prove to be that COP back that we so desperately need.Last edited by JayJack; 03-09-2014, 10:40 AM.sigpic

He has never really had a big run. I would venture to say Moreno has had longer runs than Hillman. Hillman strugles in pro, cant hold a ball, and just isnt good IMO.
Maybe it's because I've watched every Denver game 4-5 times on the all22 but Hillman definitely has serious talent. He would've been the starter all year if he wouldn't have had the fumbles.A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

Hillman is just garbage plan and simple. He has the talent to be better than avg rb but can't put it all together on the field. He has speed but is so scared of fumbling that he can't use it. Hopefully he has return skills no one knows about cuz he ain't seeing the field in a meaningful game otherwise."Stand behind our troops or Feel free to stand in front of them!"

Sproles gives us what we hope Hilman and Holiday will. Hilman has potential but we dont have another year to hope it works out. Sproles has shown hes explosive and can finish plays. He runs well outside and his YAC is impressive. Not to mention he's scary as a punt returner and once again, he's not prone to fumble. Perfect weapon worth throwing a few coins at
