  • what's up with Knowshon?

I haven't heard anything about him at all during FA, not one peep!

I find it odd that no one brought him in for a visit or anything?

Does he come crawling back to Denver? And if so do we consider even bringing him back?

Well, with Ben Tate agreeing to such a cheap deal, I could easily see us bringing Knowshon back on a team friendly deal...

"Does he come crawling back to Denver?"

Why would he crawl back to Denver, we're the ones who decided to let him become a free agent and test the market. And after the way the front office, coaching staff and fans have treated him during his tenure, I wouldn't blame him at all if he wanted to leave. He's been a class act and really come into his own on the field the last few years, I would love to keep him. But if not, I wish him the best

I wouldn't mind if we got him back for another year for cheap. I think he played well for us and did a great job blocking in the back field. I am suprised no one has had him come out to visit. He was actually impressive this year catching and running.

While I would love to see us bring Knowshon back, what would that tell Ball? I actually think Ball could be a great RB, maybe even better than Knowshon. To bring Knowshon back would put Ball to second string as Moreno would be the higher priced RB. We also have CJ Anderson who has shown flashes of being a good RB himself. The FO has not quite given up on Hillman either. Hillman is cheep, so unless they need the roster spot for someone else, Hillman will be on the roster. It is also possable we pick up a RB in the 3rd round of the draft for added depth.

I believe the first two rounds are locked up on Defense and a WR to replace Decker. Caldwell while showing he can be a decent Receiver is no replacement for Decker. Caldwell is more for depth. Who ever we target in the first two rounds need to be able to come in and start right away. We don't have the luxary of being able to let them develope slowly as this is likely Mannings last year. If Manning returns for 2015, it could cost us Brock Osweller as he is already going on his third season on a four year rookie deal. So the window for Manning to get another ring is closing rapidly.

To be Honest,i think Moreno was our best RB.I haven't seen anything from the other RBs that leads me to believe they will be better.I like Hillman, but he can't hang on to the football.I would sign him for friendly contract if he comes back.

I don't there was really a market and the Tate signing showed it. RBs just don't have the stock share they once had. It's just gonna be where he gets the best deal he can at this point.

Sure hope not. He will slow down Ball's growth who is already a better runner than knowshon plus he runs with power. Ball needs the reps to improve his pass blocking.

There is NO market for free agent runningbacks. I think we can get him around 2.5 to 3 mil per if he does come back to us.

I agree with this. Moreno is a great pass blocker and catches the ball well out of the backfield.

I think that it wouldn't be a good decision to bring back Moreno . In order for Ball to reach his full potential I think we have to put trust into him and put the majority of out running game on his shoulders. In my opinion he has the potential to be a top ten running back in the league, maybe top five. What we need is a backup that is reliable and gets the job done, but isn't a number one back

Is this what you mean crawling back to Denver?

It doesn't look good, but maybe they can squeeze him into the cap.

Only if he is going to be the third down back. Ball runs harder and breaks more tackles and has more burst.

I see that talent in Anderson. IMO He is a more natural power runner and has a elite sense of balance. I think we should stick with the talented young RB we have gathered
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.
