STRENGTHS Nice patience. Efficient mover. Can catch out of the backfield. Tread remaining on his tires. Tough and durable. Hardworking and dependable.

WEAKNESSES Lacks ideal bulk and speed. Was never the feature back (ordinary production). Average burst to and through the hole. Limited power, creativity and elusiveness. Cannot drag the pile or string moves together.

    DRAFT PROJECTION Priority free agent

BOTTOM LINE Tough, overachieving, monotone zone runner who generally gets what is blocked for him and has a ceiling as a No. 3 back.

Works for me. Elway is fantastic in FA. Newsome can handle all the drafting needs.

I expect them to return as a force in the AFC next season. It took their offense hitting rock bottom level of bad for them to finally miss the postseason for the first time since 2007.

I know Ozzie is good but on the NFL Draft an hour ago they were all saying that Denver had the best off-season and how do we work under the same cap that everyone else does with the players we have brought in

I wouldn't swap Elway for anyone
