Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Why on earth does this front office continue to ignore the fact that mike linebacker is a need on our D?
I feel like we could use a nasty slobberknocker roaming the middle of the field. Can anyone explain why they have ignored the position in the past few drafts and free agency?

I am betting they go Avery Williamson in the next round
Because there is no good fit at our draft positions. Have patience. I believe our 4th will be Avery Williamson who could win the starting job this year. We needed an OL and Schofield is a good pick. Latimer is a good pick even if I think the trade was a little one sided. But there really weren't any good fits for a 4-3 MLB. Have a little faith.
Bradfords dropping quickly more then likely due to him being moved around a lot and his perceived character issues. He could be an interesting pick up. I like Williamson but no drop back experience at ILB is essentially the Joe Mays story all over again
1. Its not a great draft for the MLB position (of a 3-down, 4/3 variety).
2. If you are going to draft a 2-down player at MLB, you would be wise not to do so in the top 3 rounds.
3. Take JE at his word, a cover Nickel-LB and WLB depth are larger needs than a 2-down MLB (which is what the position was relegated to once Mosley and Shazier were off the board).
4. You can find a cover Nickel-LB / depth at WLB in rounds 4-7 (see Danny T.)
Nate Irving is legit. Don't let his draft position fool you.
MLB should be a vocal, fiery leader. Nate is not vocal, there was an article about it, He admitted he is not comfortable with being vocal. I don't know why people continue to overlook this. Should be a SLB, but unfortunately for him we have Von.

Bradford is interesting. Forgot he hadn't been picked. Either way Williamson is a better athlete and in coverage than you think. The guy could be our starter if we draft him.
