His vertical and range are higher then Mosleys
I am not familiar with him, so if you say he is a good find, I believe you. I was not very impressed by the video I watched. To me he seemed like a guy that flies all over and arm-tackles. I am hopeful to be surprised, but at this point am feeling let down.

Yeah hes a high flyer and thats about it he gets off blockers fairly easily though which is more then I can say for Irving. His biggest problem is he lacks proper technique and he is only starting to develop proper instincts. Though hes not as a solid starter as Bradford or Brown or even Jones were he has higher potential then those players IMO with the exception of Bradford.

I think he has made leaps and bounds this year with more and more play and gave some of the best teams in the SEC fits. Which makes me think all he really needs is some better coaching

There is some of that mean nasty we've been missing! Kid looks like real vocal leader on D. Awesome seeing him getting everyone fired up pregame in the huddle. That's something we've lacked since Dawk retired honestly.

Elway's slowly but surely building a contender on this defense. The clear message is being sent that we were too soft last year and that stops now!

Yep Ild prefer Bradford as far as leadership though that fight he had on the sidelines trying to rile up his teammates concerned me a bit and is why he dropped in the first place. Though as far as ILB's with coverage ability go he was next on my list

Again, you're an armchair GM who thinks he can scout linebackers better than John Elway, John Fox, and Jack Del Rio.

My opinion isn't higher valued than yours at this point, but neither of our opinions match what happens in real life. Especially when the guys you're questioning have more than a dozen games of film on players you've just watched on YouTube...

              Barrow is a Fox pick.

@MaseDenver: Elway: Fox "made about 18 laps around the room" while hoping that Lamin Barrow would fall to the Broncos in the fifth round.

Man football is a conservative sport, but you guys need to get off the FO's Jock for the most part..
This was a needless reach, with many superior developmental/convert mike's still on the board..
The kid covers and wraps up like he's playing flag football.

Tripp does have good athleticism and did impress scouts at the Senior Bowl but take it from me he did not get tested nearly as much as Barrow did so yeah I think the fact hes faster and lengthier then Tripp while facing better competition on a consistent basis does make him a better candidate too. Few have his combo of speed and length and his incredible range.

Hes was rated a 5th round draft pick by nearly every major scout ive seen so its a good pick in a good spot, yes Tripp was a highly touted player with his coverage skills but hes not as highly touted of a leader and he rarely faced as good of competition so there is nothing wrong with this pick.

Because he was a 5th rounder on nearly every major scouting report but his name wasnt Tripp or Mosley so people have to be upset.

So sounds like we picked right on the money...I like the pick personally but there is always going to be some arm chair wanna be who thinks he knows better than the FO and absolutely hates the pick.

These same guys that say X is better than Y or Z was a bad pick are the ones who have day jobs and kids to feed before they can even look into who we should draft.

I trust the guys who evaluate these guys as a means to feed their kids. The same guys who got us Danny Trevathan in the sixth...
