I hate that Ryan Williams is so injury prone, I would snatch him up in a second if he wasn't.

Winston and McKinnie would be good competition at RT for us. I would love to see Clark have to beat one of them out to get the RT spot.

Terrell Thomas would be good competition IMO at CB, he would be a vet presence to push Roby and Webster to earn the starting spot rather than one of them giving it to the other.

None of the available free agents from that list seem to be good fits for the Broncos.

IMO the Broncos will wait until the summer training camp cuts begin. Could be some interesting players that become available and will sign for a minimum vet contracts. Elway is a salesman and the Broncos are an easy sale this year.

To me CB and RB seem the most likely targets. Both could use some depth, vet experience and competition.

I wouldn't mind Felix Jones for a cap friendly amount. I think we have a lot of potential in our RB stable. However, I don't think we have a guy that can hit the hole and outrun the defense. I'm not saying that's what makes a RB great. We have some good powerful RBs. Hillman is supposedly a speed back, but I don't believe he's as fast and explosive as advertised. With the potent offense we have, I'd just like to see that explosive RB somewhere in the stable.

Felix Jones gives us a receiving threat in the backfield if hes not expensive

Ben Hartsock (if rumors of us cutting some TE's for cap space is true)

James Harrison if hes willing to compete for the 4th Stud on the roster for a friendly price

Terrell Thomas could help secure the backfield position competing for the 3rd corner whether he gets a roster spot or not he could get the best out of Carter/Webster/Roby giving them an established veteran to compete against

David Stewart is not on that list and he would be great competition at RT

Pat Angerer just to see how he measure up to our current LB's

Though with all FA its all about cap hit if we cant afford them then dont bother looking at them. We have 95 on the roster currently not including future cuts

I wouldnt mind Gregory either but I am not sure if the organiztion is interested in another FS after signing huff

I would also love McClain but we dont use FB's

Maybe I am being overly optimistic but I think there will be much better talent available after some teams start releasing some players in the summer.

Likely players we are not even thinking as possibly available but Elway can convince them to come to Denver on a 1 year deal. Just like he does every summer.

Vonta Leach. There is a reason Arian Foster and Ray Rice played so well in 2011 and 2012, respectively. However, it won't happen because we don't use a FB. Ronnie Brown would be interesting. Ryan Williams if we were reasonably sure he would be healthy (no guarantee of that at all.) Terrell Thomas and Pat Angerer would be welcome additions. Both would cost close to nothing, both add competition at areas where we need the most competition in my opinion. Oh, Clabo or Winston as competition for RT. Again, neither will cost much and maybe neither even makes the team, but the camp competition makes everyone better.

The tough question is though, who gets cut to bring any of these guys on board?

The only player on that list that I'd be remotely interested in would be Kevin Williams.

Truth is we have way to much depth at WR we will need to cut at least 2 where we are now just to make the 90 roster. We also have plenty of DB's including 7 of which that can be moved around giving us plenty of depth throughout our secondary (about roughly 8 CB's 5 SS and 4 FS). We have plenty of depth at DT/DE as well and RB has got a lot of backs in the stable. Honestly right now we have about 2-5 extra players throughout our roster except at K P and LS. Adding more depth is great but there does come a point where it becomes hard to manage all the moving parts. Though I could see us adding maybe 4 more players for depth purposes especially at WLB and MLB

At CB we actually only have maybe 5 guys that are solid = Talib, Harris, Carter, Webster and now Roby. We don't really know what we have in Webster and Roby yet and Carter is borderline on being solid... yes, we do have some prospects, but that is all. Jerome Murphy was activated last year when S Brandon Merriweather got hurt ... didn't we have Brandon here in the past? The Tulane rookie CB is nothing more than a prospect and we have Louis Young from G Tech, another rookie.

Terrell Thomas makes sense to add to the CB corps. He has better size than Carter and is likely as good or better ... probably better and then you have the injury issue still with Harris and Talib hasn't completed a season.
Add Terrell Thomas! Wait, if cheap

Ryan Williams could be a great addition if he stays healthy. To be the 3rd guy he would take less wear and tear. Use him moderately.
