Elway is gonna have a plan for the team. I will gurantee you shoring up protection for his investment at QB will be towards the top of the list. To say we should cut Clady, is not an easy decision.
It will be a very interesting off season for us Bronco fans.

giving Malik's money to a QB with only 7 starts and just as many bad moments as good moments would be a terrible decision for a variety of reasons. This team is far better off investing in its defense and offensive line while drafting a young QB that can grow on the job and has all of the necessary pieces around him to succeed. It also makes far more sense, from a financial standpoint.
With a QB on a rookie contract, you could afford all of the necessary pieces around him to stay a Super Bowl contending team for 3-4 years until you have to give the QB a 2nd contract. By that point, you hope that the QB has demonstrated the abilities to carry a team on his back like a franchise QB should. If you give Brock a big money deal, you not only give more money to him than you should but you let other impact players walk in the process which hurts Brock's chances of being able to lead a team to championship contention.
Point is, great TEAMS win Super Bowls. Investing that much in a player that is still an unknown for his long-term prospects and not giving that money to proven impact players is just stupid IMO.RESTORE THE ORANGE CRUSH!!!!

I don't feel we can offer MJ anymore or less than Wolfe got. When a player signs early for less than he may have got on the market, you can't penalize him by giving MJ more for holding out for the best offer. I do think we should have that contract offer out to MJ, but it will be up to him to take it.
There also could be a softer than expected market for MJ given the very strong DL class this year, teams may simply spend on other positions they feel they can't fill in the draft.
For us I still believe option 1 should be MJ option 2 Draft.Ravens GM 2016 - Ravens are looking to trade down 4-8 spots

When you have a special unit, you have to do whatever it takes to keep them together.

13 of the last 15 QBs to start a Superbowl for the AFC have been Manning, Brady, or Ben. Like it or not QB play is instrumental in building a championship. Is replacing a player of Malik's caliber easy? No, it's not. It's much harder to find a starting QB at 31 that you can develop. As for Brock having as many bad as good moments, we are going to have to disagree on that one. Also, having money does not gurantee you can sign a player. Jacksonville has tons of money, why are they not getting pegged as landing spots for everyone? Teams win superbowls, and having a QB is a crucial element. Even our defense needed 2 QBs to have critical comebacks in order to be in this position. What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?
