Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

People wonder why I keep saying it will be hard to keep our FA's and this is why, $9 million for Wolfe I have a feeling if they havent resigned Malik yet its because thats not enough for him, and he might just walk. Miller wont be cheap but hes proven worth it, and we have some high end LB's to keep as well but Brandon will be easier to keep

The way Wolfe sounded, it wasn't what he was asking for either. He said that he told his Agent "let's just get the deal done." Sounds to me like he didn't want to make this a long process so he accepted the offer on the table.
Marshall and Trevathan have to be priority - with Von and Brock being no-brainers this off season. I love Jackson, but I have a feeling that Wolfe/Williams will be the two guys if we can't get it done with MJ and we will have a draft pick and veteran in the rotation. Good to see our DBs all locked in as well as our Offence. The OL needs help as well and there are only so many dollars.

Honestly our Defensive starters will be heavily sought after in FA, Wolfe knows his PED suspension hurt him and he seemed disinterested in honestly leaving Denver because of the atmosphere there. I was hoping the others felt the same way and wanted to get it done to limit distractions but I think right now a lot of them know yesterday and the SB are a great way to get the needle moving in their favor.
It will be harder to convince Ware to reduce his salary after 7.5 hits on Brady but many have said hes never looked so happy and so proud of his teammates as he did that day which makes me think he wants to stay
I have no idea where contract negotiations are, but MJ played a hell of a game yesterday too. He has become stout vs the run and still generates good pressure. If we offer him the same contract we just gave Wolfe and he decides to hit the market, then ya he is most likely gone; however, with a cap hit of 7 mil this year and 8 mil next year, makes Wolfe and Jackson both affordable.
Ware may very well take a reduction to stay, that would be great, but on the flip side Ray and Barrett should be ready for more snaps.
I still see Manning, Clady, and Ware savings us 30M: Von 10M*, MJ 7M, Ware 5M, and Trev 4M = 26M...so it is entirely possible. Talia restructure saves 4M? Offers even more cap flexibility. But the players have to want to be here on a fair contract.
* taling 1st year cap hit not AAV.

If we win the Super Bowl, I believe Ware retires or isn't willing to take a pay cut. He'll have his ring and if he wants to continue playing, he knows someone will probably pay him what the Broncos aren't willing to.

Thats fair and chances are if we win we will be focusing more on long term contracts with young players then contracts that benefit more the short term with proven vets. It is likely to be more of a rebuilding mode then a focus on the here and now, but I am not saying that we wont try and be competitive.
If we can keep guys like Miller and other core Defenders we can still be dominant in FA and retaining others. Most of the FA we got and the deals we got were because of Manning being here and the belief he could bring us a title, but now that weve proven we have a possible future without him we could actually still maintain our off season success.
Unfortunately, retaining our D corps could be very costly so its very difficult to say we will be able to do it. Though Miller proved why he deserves a Watt like contract.

Cumon you need to give the guy a break! Bosa is listed twice - once as #3 and again at #7. Aside from that I think we would likely rank OT's & perhaps ILB/OLB's a bit higher on our boards. So I'd likely have some of the players who are lower on your big board moved up...I also do not think that we would have D.Henry RB that high on our board. I question if we'd even have him higher than say Dixon....it is a question of speed, size and durability.
Noah Spence has been someone I have been looking into. While Bosa has had some attention as of late Spence has been consistent.
Spense has extraordinary speed while rushing, he needs to adjust his attitude off the field if he is going to be a Bronco. I believe he will fall to us just like Shane Ray did.
