Anybody know why Ragland fell that bad? We need a middle linebacker like no other right now. Would love to see us go Sua Cravens or devontae Booker at number 2

It did get reported he had a heart issue that needs to be monitored, but shouldn't affect his career in theory. That didn't help, plus he's OK in coverage, and the way the league is going you're looking for guys like Darron Lee over Ragland.

Jack was medical I didn't think he'd drop this far, but I'm not a doctor. The former NFL doc I do follow did though. Denver can only use its 5ths 6th and 7ths to move up now. You're not getting very high there, unless we want to to give up future picks. I like Westerman, but I don't think he would start, and moving up for a back up on the interior is a lot to give up.

Westerman could very easily drop to their 2nd pick. I'm hoping for Spriggs, Clark, Dodd, or Nassib in the 2nd.

Perhaps, he still wouldn't start, and that's an area you can get a guy who could see some meaningful playing time

Elway played this QB situation like a boss. As Mike Klis just tweeted, Elway gave the 49ers and Eagles a chance to move their disgruntled QBs but did not lose his discipline. Elway played "on his terms". Now he has his QB of the future and those teams will have to deal with their QB drama.

I can't believe we lose Brock. Our 1st and or 3rd for lynch. What a joke. I can't believe any of you are happy about that.

You're not realizing what this does for the team. Brock wasn't exactly proven. And neither is Lynch, but Lynch isn't asking for massive money that can cripple the team in the long run. Thus Lynch = less risk & just as much reward.

I believe most teams are concerned about his coverage ability to be a three-down LB.

I guess you missed the part where the Cowboys were also trying to trade up to get Lynch. And you can't guarantee Lynch would not be selected by KC or ARI.

I really like Dodd - great replacement for Malik. Tampa Bay will likely pick him up.

No, he would not have. There were multiple teams trying to trade up for him including Dallas, Cleveland and one other team I forgot.

Yep. I really don't think we have a shot at Dodd...but then I thought the same thing about Lynch
