Brady is the one indispensable Patriot. Even if they think Jimmy Garoppolo is the next Steve Young, Brady is still playing at an incredibly high level. Why would he leave, and why would the Pats want him to?

Um, not so fast. There has been a great deal of talk about moving on from Brady by the Boston sports media this year. Brady felt very threatened when they drafted Jimmy G and having to be out the first 4 games. Apparently, he too started to hear rumblings about this potential. Might not be this year though, but I believe it will be a possibility.

Additionally, they signed Martellus Bennett because they expected Gronk to get injured again and he might be on the way out as well. Again, not this year but he will not be given the big pay day he was hoping for.

The Patriots are notorious for moving on a year earlier than most teams are. Don't be surprised if it happens sooner than later. However, I believe that Brady would retire. Can't see him going to another team whatsoever.

There's been talk of Room coming here. Room is a few years younger than Brady, yet injury prone. If Trevor plays well the remaining season, it won't be an issue.

Exactly! The list of things that would happen before Bill and Kraft let Brady walk out the door, as an able bodied player is tremendous. They are not the Colts F/O. They're not going to let one of, if not the, greatest QB to play the game "ride off into the sunset" anywhere but in a Patriot uniform. And I tip my hat to them for that.

Good point. We dont have to look any farther at a perfect example than Manning. He had the best year of his career in 2013 and then come mid 2014, bam, he hit a wall and it was down hill from there.
