Salary Cap expected to rise $10-15 million

USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports teams were informed on Tuesday that the salary cap is expected to rise to between $166-170 million in 2017.
The salary cap this season is $155.27 million, so it's roughly a $10-15 million increase. The cap has been steadily rising for years with the league just rolling in the money. With more cap space, contracts will keep getting bigger.

Plain and simple Elway use that money to rebuild the O line and also help out our run defense and then we will be right back contending for a championship. And as Broncos fans I think we all know Elway is going to be aggressive in fixing our needs we have a lot to look forward to while we still enjoy our current season where anything can happen let's beat Brady!

We have alot of draft picks and ERFA/RFA's.

But depending on who gets cut, and rollover money, we have about 7 mil now in rollover.

OTC projects the cap at 166, and Denver is 30 under that without rollover.

Thats with Okung who could get cut but there isnt much to replace him in FA or on the current roster.

But Denver should have enough for a couple good signings unlike the last 2 years.
