Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Per sources, Mario Williams to be released. Williams and Miller coming after a quarterback from the same side is a scary thought. He is older and might be a ring chaser at this point of his career. http://nfltraderumors.co/tag/mario-williams/
I'll pass on him. I think his career is over even if he reunite with Kollar. Sign Ware and get a DE like Campbell in FA
Ware is an OLB at nearly 300 pounds Williams would play DE in our 34. Ware isn't worth $7M if he's injured 50% of 5he time. Ray is ready for a full time role, outside of Wolfe no one on the D-Line can say the same.

I didn't say Ware is a DE. This is also why I suggested Campbell( A 3-4 DE!!).
You're suggesting Denver look at an older vet for pass rush. Why not just resign someone that was a part of our team for around the same price with incentives like last year. I never said Ware was worth 7 million either and I would never pay him that. On 104.3 said that if Denver resigned Ware they predict him to get 20 or less snaps per game. Ray would still be the starter.
Depending on his relationship with Vance Joseph I can see him coming in to compete for camp. I'm sure a vet like him prefers guaranteed job but on paper he looks pretty washed up. Also I know he is a 4-3 end but at 6'6 300 can he play defensive end in a 3-4? Can he be a pass rushing defensive end in a 3-4?

i think he is out of place at DE in the 3-4 he is better suited as a 4-3 DE

Can Williams play 3 technique? Cause in Denver's scheme they have a DE on the strong side at 5 tech and a "DE" on the weak side at 3 tech. Wolfe is occupying the 5 tech spot, so you either move him to 3 tech and Williams goes to that 5 tech, or you play Williams at 3 tech. In base.
In nickel and dime packages you have Miller, Ray, Barrett and Ware currently as DE's, so Williams would need to either bump those guys, or play 3 tech. If you play him at DE in these situations you still need a 1 or 3 tech.
This isn't happening. The biggest sign is that per nfl.com, Vance Joseph called Mario Williams out for "not playing hard enough". He won't be brought in here.

Good point, I didn't even think of the fact that Joseph just coached him.
