Let's get this guy! He just posted the tweet " Buffalo was so special.. thank for everything" so I'm assuming they're moving on.

Looks like a LT will cost us 10 million, RT will cost us about 7 million, DE/DT will cost 8-14 depending on who we get. Plus, Denver is entertaining the idea of the price is right.... mean 7-14 million. Add 5 million for the drafted players and another 5 for injury pick ups mid season. Not a lot of money to send there on a 8 million rb that appears to have a hamstring injury all the time. We already have an injury prone RB on our team.Last edited by Murph2432; 02-27-2017, 01:57 PM.

An aging back who fits a zone system isn't the answer for a team with a weak line and going to a power/man dominated scheme. If Denver is going to sign an RB I'd hope it's Latavius Murray or a distant second Adrian Peterson. Those players fit the new scheme, McCoy does not. He'd be a great fit in San Fran.

He's my most coveted free agent. Well him and J. Hankins.

The best way for the run game to step up is to fix the offensive line. With a good o-line you can have just about anyone back there and they'll have success. With a bad offensive line very few backs can have success.

Right now at OT, they have Stephenson, Okung, Sambrailo, and Schofield.
Okung is gone unless they can re-sign him in FA (if they even want to)
Stephenson was horrible and was benched for part of the season last year and they can save $3M if they cut him
Sambrailo may be the worst Olineman on the roster
Schofield played fairly well at OG and at OT when given reps but not sure if he is a starter yet, and may be best at OG.
That means they may have to replace the entire OT position group!!!! On top of THAT....they all need time to learn the O system and develop chemistry as a unit. I wouldn't hold my breath and think next year's unit will be much better. Not sure how you think bringing in McCoy will make us have a hell of a run game. Not down on McCoy at all...just your reasoning as to how much impact it would have. The QB may not be any more experienced either...no idea who that will be at this point. For all we know...it could be a rookie.sigpic
