  • LeSean McCoy

Let's get this guy! He just posted the tweet " Buffalo was so special.. thank for everything" so I'm assuming they're moving on.

He will easily get 8mill a year or better. Not worth it especially when we don't have anyone to block for him.

Do you guys honestly not think elway will fix this line? We have 40+ million to spend. Through FA and the Draft this O line will be improved. I would rather build a hell of a running game with CJ and McCoy then bring in romo.

Not if we unnecessarily dump money into skill positions.

Unnecessarily? Did you see our run game last year? Once CJ went down it was a disaster. Despite people's belief we to balance offense/defense we need a high quality running game to take the pressure off of our young QBs

Waste of money to spend on a position that's not a huge need for us. We need help at DL, OL, LB, and TE over RB. Those 4 spots will take majority of the 40+ million.

Looks like a LT will cost us 10 million, RT will cost us about 7 million, DE/DT will cost 8-14 depending on who we get. Plus, Denver is entertaining the idea of the price is right.... mean 7-14 million. Add 5 million for the drafted players and another 5 for injury pick ups mid season. Not a lot of money to send there on a 8 million rb that appears to have a hamstring injury all the time. We already have an injury prone RB on our team.

If our running game didn't spiral down the drain last year we would have been in the playoffs. We were two totally different teams once CJ went down. Hell let's dump draft picks and money into new TEs every year.

An aging back who fits a zone system isn't the answer for a team with a weak line and going to a power/man dominated scheme. If Denver is going to sign an RB I'd hope it's Latavius Murray or a distant second Adrian Peterson. Those players fit the new scheme, McCoy does not. He'd be a great fit in San Fran.

Do you honestly think it will get fixed in 1 year??? Okung and Stephenson were brought in last year to "fix it". How did that work out? It's hard enough to get one good player to fill a position of need, let alone 3 or 4.

Fixed as in? An all pro offensive line? No I do not think we will be a top 5 o line.. but I do think we will be much improved. QB will be more experienced, run game I hope steps up and I think elway will find us some options in FA and the draft

Would love Murray. Dude is a beast, and highly under rated IMO. He is no speed threat, but dude gets yards after contact.

He ran a 4.38 at the combine, for comparison McCoy ran a 4.45, Peterson ran a 4.40, Elliott ran a 4.47. So he's faster than you think.

He's my most coveted free agent. Well him and J. Hankins.

The best way for the run game to step up is to fix the offensive line. With a good o-line you can have just about anyone back there and they'll have success. With a bad offensive line very few backs can have success.

I'll take Murray, Wagner, Whitworth, and Logan all day. Then trade back a few picks if we can and draft Davis while scooping up a 4th. Then take Lamp in the 2nd moving up to do so. SCORE!

They thought the same thing last year. FA are very limited in quality guys and draftees are all rookies.....pretty hard to "fix it" in one year. Saying they will be improved....really isn't saying much. Finding 2 starting OT is very very hard to do in one season let alone also potentially needing an OG and an OC...plus potentially backups at OT as well.

Right now at OT, they have Stephenson, Okung, Sambrailo, and Schofield.

Okung is gone unless they can re-sign him in FA (if they even want to)
Stephenson was horrible and was benched for part of the season last year and they can save $3M if they cut him
Sambrailo may be the worst Olineman on the roster
Schofield played fairly well at OG and at OT when given reps but not sure if he is a starter yet, and may be best at OG.

That means they may have to replace the entire OT position group!!!! On top of THAT....they all need time to learn the O system and develop chemistry as a unit. I wouldn't hold my breath and think next year's unit will be much better. Not sure how you think bringing in McCoy will make us have a hell of a run game. Not down on McCoy at all...just your reasoning as to how much impact it would have. The QB may not be any more experienced either...no idea who that will be at this point. For all we know...it could be a rookie.
