What Romo are you expecting? The 2014 or the five games in two years?

Manning had 55 TDs and an MVP season then two seasons of his body breaking down before our eyes. to an embarrassingly bad level in fact.

Which Romo are you expecting, if signed?
Romo's 5 games in 2 years wasnt due to his body breaking down. It was due to injury. If healthy I expect at least 1 year of the 2014 Romo, possibly 2 years before his body starts breaking down.

Missing two years because of an injury actually
Isn't true. He was actually healthy week 8 and cleared to play. Dallas just wasn't going to put Romo back in after The way Dak was playing.

      • High risk high reward. We can have a shot at being a fringe playoff team or take a risk and be a contender.

"lets spend the money on the top free agents" no guarantee the top free agents wanna play here.

        • Might as well say no to Romo now with the weak O line were about to have
          Superbowl 50 Champions!

I admire your optimism. Romo is way too high risk IMO.

My expectations are lower. I expect him to be a good QB "if healthy". Not 2014 Romo but competent. Until he tries to extend a play too long (as he tends to do) and take some hits. How his body responds will be the bottom line. Does he have no lingering effects from those multiple back surgeries?

Or does his left collarbone break again.? Does his multiple back injuries cause him to be stiff or sore after just repetitive throws in practice let alone those hits during a game?

I am more of the opinion that he will miss multiple games over the season. How many and where in the season is the roll of the dice.

              • It's high risk high reward type of gamble. Denver needs to greatly upgrade the weak O-Line othwerwise Romo is toast.

                • Ok so now it looks as Jones is not releasing Romo but trying to work a trade.

Oh Siemian possibly to jets but for who, Richardson?
Possibly depending on work list Campbell decides to do.
