Looks like the Broncos are targeting Chris Baker for the nose tackle position. Baker has nine sack in just two seasons, he's not only a run stuffer but plays the pass quite well.

Washington fans are infuriated of the possibility that he walks but along with the Broncos, the Tampa bay buccs are in strong persuit as well.

Baker played for the Broncos back in 2009.

He kind of looks like Ivan the drag twin.

Campbell was offered a very large sum of money by the patriots prior to today to which Campbell scoffed and laughed at.

I know it is tampering but they are the patriots but anyway that was reported by Tyler Polumbus on 104.3 this morning. So with that said it is looking like Calais is demanding a huge Malik Jackson type deal.

Campbell previous contract had 11 mill per year and his final year of that contract paid him out at 14. I would expect something between that range to be the average of his next deal. Baker can be had for around 7-8 maybe and hopefully not more.

I'm sure a million other reporters have been paying attention from the beginning too. You don't think one of the biggest FA defender and the Patriots organizations isn't heavily watched by every reporter/ insider. Not saying Tyler couldn't have some sort of insider than no one else has but it's just hard to believe. That all being said, I would still love to have Baker

Baker would be a great pickup, especially if VW comes back. Remember, Malik wasn't all-world. He was arguably the 2nd or 3rd-best dline we had. If you include Von and DWare, he was the 4th best (putting him behind Wolfe). The key to a great dline is strength at every position and a couple standouts (Von and DWare, hopefully Ray). Sly probably wasn't any better in the SB year than last year, but he had better players next to him. Meanwhile, Malik had a good season, but didn't change the narrative in Jax.

Oh OK I didn't hear the part where you said he corrected himself.

The reason it stood out to me as New England is because he did say "what happened to the tampering rules" and then he said "well it's New England to get away with things".
