It could happen...but how likely is that? Considering the backup to Romo may not be a backup at all we need to keep Siemian. Either way not getting the top LTs in the market leaves us in a bad position where we're set to repeat the 2016 season.

This is the one guy I was hoping to get. No need to get romo now if the Oline is going to stay a turnstiles

We did sign a guard from Dallas, that's a good pickup.

I'm wondering if we're going to snag a few guards and maybe a journeyman tackle in FA and then draft o-line heavy this year.

Could be. If we can fill out our OL so that we don't have to get a 1st RD T or G then the 2nd and 3rd rounds will have have some good options too.

I just posted something about this on Reddit regarding Calais to the jags

Youre a long time NFL player signing your last deal and u decide to go die without a ring in a Jags/rams uniform because they offer you more money

Is that really what's making you happy? Is that really the most fulfilling life move right now? Is 3-5 million dollars more of fun money worth having memories of getting stomped out of the league instead of competing at the highest level and making great life long memories. I just don't think that's what life's about

I can't say they're wrong for taking the most money to do their job, but that's some miserable "football is a job for money, not fun" stuff

I could see Elway letting McGovern, Schofield, and Garcia compete for RG. I hope McGovern wins if that's the case. I really want Forrest Lamp in the draft, he's an instant day one starter at RG. Just need to fix the OT situation.

Couldn't agree more my man. It's a head scratcher that vets wouldn't want to at least play on a competitive team in their last years in the league, especially when they haven't sniffed a ring yet. I can understand if a vet already won a ring to chase the money, but I didn't expect Whitworth to do that. We may still have a shot at Campbell, though. Keeping my fingers crossed for that.

I thought he said he wanted to go to a contender if he was to leave Bengals. I guess money ALWAYS talks.
