He is more digging at Vance Joseph than saying anything positive about Siemian.
Oz looked better against two of the better teams on our schedule than Siemian had looked in quite a few games before then. So when Lynched finally got a chance to start, who was his backup? Siemian!
Right now, Lynch should be playing to show exactly what he can do, but Siemian will start the rest of the season. I really believe that as long as Joseph is HC, Siemian will be his choice at starting QB!

You do realize Lynch is injured right? He literally cannot play even if they wanted to. Also disagree with you on Brock looking better than Siemian. His near Pick 6 when we were at the 1 yard line is practically the largest reason we lost to Cincinnatti. Sure he played mostly well against the Pats but Siemian torched the Chargers in week 1 and the Cowboys in week 2. So it's not like Siemian hasn't had better games.

I gotcha. Still won’t happen though. I doubt Trevor is on the team. Plus, if Vance is allowed back, there will probably be an understanding that he Trevor isn’t going to be the starter. That’s my guess.

People are correct Siemian did look good the first half of the first Chargers game and against Dallas he really looked good. After that he looked bad until the Jets game. All he has to do is stop turning the ball over, the our defense can win a bunch of games.
If Coach Joseph is our head coach in 2018, he will want Siemian his starting QB.
BTW, I am hearing Lynch is able to play now, in but won't see any more playing time this season.

I disagree with this in general. But that’s all subjective so I won’t hound you about.

However, if Vance is the coach next year, he won’t have a choice. Siemian won’t be on the team. Why would Elway bring him back?

Because he isn't a free agent and he doesn't have to let him go? Brock will be a free agent and will not be re-signed. If we draft a rookie Siemian very well could be the 2018 starter while a rookie sits a year or if the starter is ready to start right away I still wouldn't be surprised to see Siemian second string over Lynch in the event of injures.

I mean I'm sorry. Kansas Bob is trying to claim conspiracy theories over his current injury. But it's not like Lynch has shown any reason whatsoever to be ahead of Siemian anyway. Not even a flash.

If we go out and grab a vet in free agency and still draft a rookie then I think Siemian will be gone.

I think we already know what we have in Siemian. If Lynch is healthy, I really don't understand why he isn't playing. I think Siemian is a better QB(which isn't saying much at all), but not playing Lynch if he is healthy is troublesome. My only logic in this is they don't want him to show how bad he is out there on the field anymore hoping that other teams forget HOW bad he actually is and would possible give a 6th or 7th for him.

I don't agree with that statement, especially if he plays out decently. He is the perfect backup, he is pretty good coming in as a relief and if you can beef up the o-line and get a real threatening running game, he should play even better than he did last year. He can even help a rookie QB develop if we sign another one. I heard everybody on the team really likes him and would like to see him stay. I think with a better o-line (and it is already getter better) Trevor can take that next level of development that we were all expecting this year and be a solid backup, I think his sit down period really helped him, we'll see as these last few games play out.

NOOO!! I honestly agree with you....and I think that is what is, (un)fortunately, going to happen. I think Trevor will play decent and I think we finish out 2-1. But I don't want that!!!! Haha. I would rather let that 6'7'' ****** with a laser-rocket arm go out there and scramble around looking more lost than Vance Joseph so we could lose out and have a better pick.

I highly disagree. VJ will be back for sure and I highly doubt he wants any of the QBs on the active roster as he's QB next season. He won't make it thru his 2nd season if Trevor is his QB next yr.

I hope people is correct about Siemian being on another team next season, but if VJ is our HC next year.... well, we will see. I had understood that when they drafted Lynch he was two or three years away from starting? He still has more potential, IMO, than Siemian. Myself, I would love to see Kelly get a fair shot at the QB job, but I doubt if he ever see's the field, in a real game, in a Broncos uniform!
We will see what happens. I just hope we beat the Chiefs!
