Your line of "all I've seen is three good years from cousins" he was named the starter full time 3 years ago, did you expect to see good years from him when he wasn't starting?
Over the last 3 years only 5 QB's have had over 4,000 yards each year, Cousins, Rivers, Stafford, Brees and Ryan.
Player A 13,693 yards 90TD 44 INTs
Player B 13,035 yards 85 TD 33 INTs
Player C 14,412 yards 92 TD 34 INTs
Player D 13,630 yards 79 TD 35 INTs
Player E 13,176 yards 81 TD 36 INTs
Player A is Rivers
Player B is Stafford
Player C is Brees
Player D is Ryan
Player E is Cousins
Explain to me what is so statistically different between those players and cousins? Why are they a tier above as you put it? You act like 3 years isn't very much time? That's a huge amount of consistency. That's enough to build a reliable statistical model off of. He's had those three very solid years with virtually no talent around him. The team he had this year was HORRIBLE they would have been a 2-3 win team without him carrying that team. Every other player on that list is surrounded by talented productive offensive players. If Kirk comes here, he too will be surrounded by talent, why would his production go down once he gets help from talented players on his offense? It makes no sense.sigpic
