Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Anyone else fear a drop-off from Stewart more than a Possible improvement from Watson etc?
I may be alone In thinking S and MLB are our biggest weaknesses and need immediate attention with our top 2 picks. Turnover creating Ballhawks.
Stewart got beat a lot last year, he has lost a step or our pass rush gives Qbs too much time to find the open man.
Mink Fitzpatrick would be a great fit, let him be the nickel back and give Stewart a shot to redeem himself but if its clear he's done move Fitzpatrick to Centerfield. We still need a cover LB type for 3rd downs when Todd Davis comes off, somebody like Sua Cravens.
I think Denver’s biggest threat to Barkley is the Giants
The best RBs in last year's draft were not taken in the 1st round. Fournette ended up with only 33 more yards than CJ. Kareem Hunt was the best (with most yards) from all RBs in last year's draft. So, it doesn't always make sense looking back to take a RB in the top 5.

My new favorite Bronco - KJ Hamler Guy plays inspiring football!.
I believe Ridley is a target for teams too. Would not be surprised to see the Brown's take Barkley and Ridley. With Darnold and Rosen going in between. Would also see the Giants targeting Ridley. This is a fun draft to debate.

Cravens would be ideal in order to trade back and snag Roquan or Edmunds, and I'd be pumped. If the qbs go, The Lbs fall even further. Just hafta stay ahead of the Steelers who will want to replace Shazier. I imagine the will manage to wait and get their need like they always do. In a trade back to 21 22 as some discussed a LB plus Cravens and OG Hernandez would be sweet.
There is more evidence right now that says they will. Not sure these nfl teams care about your personal distaste for him as a qb.
Wishful thinking.. no one is taking no Mayfield in top 5 trust. Browns, giants, or jets, nor us.
My boy JUSTIN FIELDS whats up man..."BACK THEN THEY DIDN'TWANT YOU, NOW YOU HOT THEY ALL ON YA." I may know just a "lil" about qbs....but not too much.
I am willing to bet he is the 4th or 5th WB off the board.
I will gladly take that bet sir.

Would love to see the Broncos draft Mayfield at #5, However he may not be there at 5. If the Broncos are set on a QB they will have to move up. If not make a team like Buffalo or Arizona sell the farm to move into the #5 spot.
Best to start warning yourself up to it because he is clearly the team's favorite prospect and is by far the most likely pick
Lmao...How do you know he is the target???? Bc they were at his pro day???? Or bc of the senior bowl request??? I'm saying it here and now, trust if Mayfield is there at 5 and we this have the 5th pick...I bet we won't take him.

Not a fan of the Mayfield pick for the Broncos either.
Not because I think he is a bad QB or has emotional issues like Manziel. My concern is I don’t see the Broncos running an offense that best suits his skill set.
It will be more about developing him into a Pro style QB and wondering why he struggles and is not as productive as he was in college.
IMO You draft him, you let him play. You don’t sit him behind an expensive “bridge “ QB.
You may have start warming yourself to the idea that the #5 pick may very well be a non-QB and Keenum is going to get the opportunity to prove himself a franchise QB.
