  • reasons to trade back up in the first

    1. conner williams or matt mcglinchey may drop into the 20-25
    2. Daron payne may drop into the 20
    3. any of those three wont be open when we pick
    4. we need talent expecially on our offensive line. if we could guarantee 2 top talents from this draft we are in a great spot we could potentially get the top OT and a blue chipper at 5.

If we are not going QB or Barkley, our best case is for QB to go 1-4. Then we need Tampa Bay, Chicago, or San Francisco to covet either Chubb or Barkley enough to jump Indy and move to 5. We then have our choice of Nelson or Fitzpatrick if we land at 7 or 8. At 9 there is still a lot of options and we get extra picks too. I personally flip-flop every day on what Denver should do.

I 100% agree, no matter what happens at 5 i want to see us trade back into rd 1 for mcglinchy!

i am not saying move away from five i am saying we should move up from 40 to like 20-30 range and get mcglinchey ideally if possible.

I been seeing a lot of the top receivers fall into the late rounds. I can see us trading up to get a guy like Christian Kirk. I can also see us falling for a size and speed guy like Chark and moving up to reach on him. I haven’t seen us linked to any other draft prospects other than QBs and the guys that were on the senior bowl roster.

Say by some chance Lamar Jackson is still on the board in the mid 20s say the bills moved up into the top 5 and the cardinals at 15 passed on Lamar I could see him falling all of the way down until mid 20s... would you move up and take him?

nope but i am not sold on jackson regardless. you take away his spped and running ability and he is a 3rd round QB at best maybe even lower.

I don't think the Bills are going to trade up at all. Browns aren't moving and I think the Giants will stay and pick Barkley, jmo. As bad as the Bills need a new QB I think they take Jackson with their #12 pick.

Seen on espn the colts have had discussions to move back from 6. A team will bite if the compensation is enough. Giants, Browns, broncos or Colts will move back. I see the Bills moving up.

I was just adding my two cents as a difference of opinion. I realized you were saying move back up, which I do not want us overpaying to do.

personally me moving down depends on if nelson is there if he is i wouldn't risk us getting not him

Well I'm still hoping for a QB at 5 (Mayfield) however if he is gone and Barkley is still there take Barkley and trade back into the first round and get some OL help. Leary is healthy, Bolles and Paradis will be solid this year.

Or Hernandez . If we trade back we should have the draft capital to trade in to the 1st again 2 top tier lineman in McGlinchey and Hernadez . I would be ecstatic for this.

I really, really like Nelson but Hernandez is very good. If we pulled off a trade that allowed us to grab Hernandez and an OT in the first I wouldn't be angry about it.

i would prefer a nelson and ot even if we lose lets say a third round pick. it would be really good.
