  • IR candidate draft picks?

Last year we drafted Jake butt and Chad Kelly as late round value picks that were high probability to go on IR.

Denver has 10 picks and unless we trade some to move up in spots, a few of these players probably won't make our team without being vulnerable on practice squad.

Are there any questionable injured players that we could grab as value in late rounds of this year's draft? With the intent of IRing them? (Like Jake last year)

Maybe Maurice Hurst, but that is because Peko has been solid for us and can afford a developing player. But after that we need day one starters. No more shots in the dark and players with delayed NFL careers.

Price is expected to be 100% by mid-July. He will lose strength and probably won't be as effective in year 1, but I'm not sure he's dropping that far. I think he goes from a first round pick to a late second/early third round pick.

It might have been an incomplete pec tear, but Ohio State center Billy Price needed a complete surgical procedure.According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Price had surgery today after last week’s weightlifting injury at the Scouting Combine. #asexpected, the surgery was deemed successful.Price was hoping to avoid surgery after he hurt himself during his third [more]
