On top of the fumbling concerns, Michel is not getting good medical reviews now. Barkley or Jones are who can help us the most in the passing game. Jones won't be there at 40.

I want Barkley but would be really happy with Jones. If we trade with Buf we could still get Ward or Edmunds at 12. I think the only way we get Jones is at 22 with a trade back.

Guise can catch too. He had 2 receiving TDs in his last game

I know your a big fan of Guise and admittedly I am a big 10 guy. I certainly haven't watched him as much as you, but to me he doesn't seem like a much better option than Booker. Now granted I got to watch a lot of Booker at Utah and he was used in many creative ways, so I see his potential. I know he isn't breakaway fast though. Nobody on our offense creates much separation. I just don't see Guise as a guy that helps us there. Jones and Barkley have a great second gear that is hard to match.

Maybe. Edmunds will go top 10, imo.

It's just my guess he goes higher. He is a game changing player. Much like Kamara this guy is going to do his damage at 12-17 combined touches per game. That has rising value in today's NFL.
The other backs in the draft are different styles and with the new concerns about Michel, Jones value is elevated.
He might not go in the first but I don't think we could get him at 40.

If he does, Ward at 12 is more likely than ever.

4 QBs, Chubb, Nelson, Smith, Barkley, James, Fitzpatrick could all go as well. Vea, Edmunds, Ward, still really good prospects. I would take any of them and Ronald Jones in the 1st.

I love the guys story, he is easy to root for that's for sure.
As far as his game and how it translates to our team, he is far too similar to CJ Anderson imo. Toughness was never Andersons issue, it was lack of explosion. Runners like Guise and Anderson make their mark closing out games with punishing runs.

Hines out of NC State looks like he could be a good complimentary back to go with Booker and Henderson as well. Good receiving skills and has some great speed. I wish there was more tape on this guy.....but like so many of them they look great on highlights lol

Wadley is my preference if we're looking at later Rd backs to spell Book and Henderson. He has a great ability to make guys miss and he could be a real weapon in our offense.

I'm biased because I'm a HUGE LSU fan, but don't tough RBs win more than explosive RBs?

If we're going off this year's Super Bowl (or New England in general) it seems that the RB committee approach is the way to go.
