  • Scenario I Haven't Seen

I have seen so many trade up or down scenarios involving our Broncos, but I haven't seen this one. Lend me your ears! (In my best Ace Ventura impression).

Trade down from #5 with Buffalo for #12, #22, #56, and 2019 2nd. ***Buffalo moves up for Josh Allen or Josh Rosen.

#12- DT Vita Vea: We need interior DL in a bad way. Peko is serviceable but aging. Kerr is just meh. Harris is promising, but still an unknown. When I look at Vea, I see Aaron Donald.

#22- QB Lamar Jackson- This is where I haven't seen anyone really talk about this. This dude is simply a play maker. Keenum is handed the reigns this year while Jackson is put in for special packages and learns how to be a better passer. But I truly believe he will be the best QB from this draft. I think we should snag him up. He has an amazing deep ball, and can scramble so nice.

#40- RB Sony Michel: I wanted Alvin Kamara last year. Obviously we didn't go that route. I say we get a player just like him in Sony! Him and Booker would be a nice combo.

#56- OT Orlando Brown: We desperately need OT depth, and a swing guy. This move will enable us to drop Watson. Sign me up.

#71- WR Equanimeous St. Brown- we also NEED WR depth. After DT and Sanders we have a bunch of question marks. Brown is tall (6'5) and fast (4.4) and would be a huge red zone target.

3rd comp- LB Shaqeem Griffin- I'm a UCF fan so I'm a little biased, but this kid can flat play. Everyone knows this kids story.

4th- CB Tavarus McFadden: I think we should trade up into top of 4th for this kid. He was once considered a too CB prospect, but had a roller coaster of a year. With mentoring from CHJ I think he would pan out. At 6'2 he is a big tangy guy.

I won't do the rest because I haven't really had time to do my homework on late round guys. I just really like both Vea and Jackson as guys we should look at.

I am a fan of trading back. Love the Vita Vea pick. However, I don’t think Jackson will fall to 22 because of the Dolphins and Arizona needing a QB

As nice of a story Griffin is. I hope we don’t spend a top 3 round pick on him. He did play very well in college and showed off at the combine but I can’t get past the one hand just yet. Everyone is big and strong in the nfl and I feel that might hurt him especially trying to jam someone at the line. I am hoping I am wrong because I want to see him succeed but it’s a little too risky for me that early.

I'm not opposed to taking Jackson at 12 honestly. If they think Jacskon won't last until 22, take him at 12, and take Rodney Harrison from Stanford at 22.

I don't want anything to do with Lamar Jackson

An unnamed NFL offensive coordinator said University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson won't stick at the position throughout his NFL career. On Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL...

And your entitled to that opinion, but from reports I have heard only 3 teams asked him to switch positions. And Mike Mayock said every DC he talked to hoped Jackson would not play in his division.

Sitting behind Keenum would be good for him... I heard some expert say it would be more beneficial for him to sit behind a pocket passing Qb than someone of his same style, would give him a chance to focus on passing mechanics ... thought it was an interesting take.

I hope he does succeed, I really do. But I just don't Envision Elway taking another Gamble on a serious question marked quarterback. As a Bronco fan, after watching what I saw last year I don't know if I can stomach more atrocious quarterback play and I think that's what you get with Jackson

I threw up in my mouth reading a wasted first round pick on Lamar Jackson.

If we are going to take a first round qb I would much rather stay at 5 and take one of the top 4 guys. Even Josh Allen who is the bottom of those 4 to me.

Nice to hear positives thrown out here today. Valid thought for sure. Like Celtics teaching Jaylen Brown to shoot. It can happen. Draft a pure athlete and the rest will follow.

I don’t think the broncos have paid an ounce of attention to any QB not in the top 4 discussion. If they did it hasn’t been reported.

Replace Lamar Jackson with Mason Rudolph and I could get behind this draft.

Everyone is. I can pull up an article on all the so called to 4 QB that will say they are gonna suck in the NFL. Yawn....none of these and are the best it's just a QB needy league. I would love to have jackson.
My boy JUSTIN FIELDS whats up man..."BACK THEN THEY DIDN'TWANT YOU, NOW YOU HOT THEY ALL ON YA." I may know just a "lil" about qbs....but not too much.
