We definitely need another WR in case Sanders isn't 100%. I'm guessing that Elway will want a Veteran who can step in, immediately. One of the best WRs just became available. And he will be expensive.

I just don’t see Elway using a top two round pick on wr with so many gaping holes elsewhere though.

Penny Hart with a 3rd or 4th round pick would be better value. Brown is slated to be a late 20's pick, which would be reaching for us unless we traded back. I would rather we pick up a vet that's savvy on route running to help out the rookies than pick up another rookie to add to the pool of inexperience.

What we really need in my opinion, is a top level, elite tight end. TJ Hockenson or Irv Smith level of player.

Pretty much guarantees he won’t be a first round pick. And might not even be a second round pick now.

If we could get him 3rd or later that would be fantastic.

It's Lisfranc surgery and here's an interesting link that looked at the injury in both NFL players and Rugby players. They found the average recovery time for NFL players was about 10 months. And that the quality of play dropped significantly the season after in comparison to their performance before the injury. They also found that it took longer for offensive players to get performance levels back. The recovery rate is 83%, but performance was rarely the same afterwards.

Here's another earlier study that looked just at NFL players and found that the average recovery time was 11 months but that upon return the performance levels weren't significantly different than other players.

Based on the 10-11 month recovery time it's unlikely he plays in 2019.

I think another WR to look at other than Brown is N’Keal Harry. Dude looks like the real

Yes, I totally agree with you. The only problem is Harry should be a #1 pick and I don't think that is who Denver takes at #10.

I think we should look at Emmanuel Hall in the 6th. It would be nice to reunite him with our 1st rd pick, Drew Lock
