Seeing as The Combine is set to go very soon, I thought it would be cool to start a thread that has a primary focus on who is rising in the draft circles....and yes, who is falling down the charts.
As of today, I have no one specifically in mind, but I am quite sure that will change by the end of next week's Combine. But as usual, I am quite sure a QB or two find their names rising or otherwise. At some point, one of them may leap ahead of the pack, and move close to the very top of the draft....which may lead to increased trading to land "the guy" for your franchise.
I also expect some Pass Rushers to wake up some folks, because just like QBs, these dudes have a huge role in the passing game. You have a passer and you have a passer stopper.
Also, I feel that one or more Oliners will rise, given that a great Oline draftee is a prized possession, and is usually described as a safe bet, and one who can anchor your line for 10 or more seasons.
And yes, then there's the athletic freaks and the studs whose skills shine brighter versus their competitors. Maybe a CB. Maybe a WR. Maybe an RB. Could be any position pretty much. But we all know who that guy is when we see them matched against the entire group.
Looking forward to this part of the season! So much to learn, so much to assess, so much excitement in the air! And hopefully a few new starters for our Broncos, year one!!
