Honestly it don’t care how fast he is. I would want him in the pocket. That dude can flat out sling it.
He'd be a fine pick for us at 10. He's got a great attitude and work ethic, which was something sorely lacking from our last first round QB. I don't know how high he is on Elway's board, but I won't be complaining if we do draft him.

I am leaning more and more with the Hopes that Denver drafts a QB and I would be super happy with D.Haskins at #10 !!

I have been thinking this way for some time now. And IF Elway is thinking the same way.....the question is: How serious does he want one?? Does he have 1 specific player in mind? Does he like two or more? Will he make a big trade to land the player he wants?

This could get very, very interesting!

Maybe the whole love for Lock was a smoke screen. Haskins just might be Elway's preference. Less than three weeks now.

I may be in the minority but im less than thrilled. If they are going qb in round 1 then logical thing in my mind was just to keep case and start said drafted qb at some point in the season. Then you wouldnt have dead money against the cap which couldve been used at some other position of need.

Thats just me though. I wanted quenton nelson last year and that idea was called crazy by a few....

NBC Sports' Peter King hears Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins is "sinking" and "may be the fourth passer picked in this draft."
NFL.com draft analyst Lance Zierlein had a similar report over the weekend, writing Haskins' perceived draft stock has been "more media created than team driven." Expected to be the second quarterback off the board behind Oklahoma's Kyler Murray for most of the process, it now appears as if Missouri's Drew Lock and Duke's Daniel Jones have a real shot of jumping Haskins on draft day. It would be a surprise if all four are not selected on Day 1.

Not too surprising. I think Lock will be the first QB taken, probabky somewhere in the top 5, then either Jones or Haskins, with one going in the top 10(Jones to Giants?) and the other somewhere a little later, perhaps Haskins to cinci at 11 or a couple picks layer to the dolphins, then Murray somewhere around 20-25.

I don’t buy it. Haskins should go in the top 10.

This just makes too much sense....

This QB thing is getting warmer and warmer, and in about 2 weeks, it will be getting quite hot (my goodness....just over 2 weeks to The Draft!!). As for rising and falling, there is a case being made that if Murray is not selected #1, he might drop a ways, because he does not fit many systems. I see it otherwise, that either The Raiders or one of the other QB hungry teams will make it work.

But I do believe Lock is rising a bit, whereas Haskins may be dropping a bit. Ands whether or not Jones is moving up or down, I get a sense that he is wanted by more than one team. The Giants are a logical fit. Maybe even The pats.

Otherwise, it will be interesting to see how all those stud Dliners/LBs get selected. I want Lock, but I do wish we had our QB for the future, because at 10, we would definitely end up with a stud.....if not D, an Oliner or TE.
