Glad to see the situation resolved. Not my preferred resolution but I’ll take it.

Time to move on to building some defensive chemistry for the season. Broncos secondary is a strength of the team.

    I would agree with him.

Supposedly there is a no franchise tag clause in 2020 as part of the agreement.

Mailing it in doesn't sound like Chris in the least to me. I expect he will do what is asked and do well at it.

He's going to have to play well, at 30+ years old he has to show the market he's worth what he's asking

Elway stepped up for him hopefully they do the same in the off season. He should want to retire here.

My own belief, we don't tag and Harris won't resign here. We have Jackson and Bryce locked in and I agree our 1st pick will be a CB

I keep hearing this is the direction the Broncos are taking. Will be interesting to see what the actual numbers will be when the contract is signed.

Does not make a lot of sense to me though. Multi year deal allows the contract to be spread out. I prefer they keep him on the field instead of playing hard ball or letting him check free agency where the price goes up significantly. . Still hoping some 11th hour negotiations break through whatever impasses they are having.

Harris should be a Bronco because he is an impact player. All-Pro team leaders are hard to find, but when you do you pay to keep them. You don't squander their talents in unnecessary contract disputes.
