Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

how well does Fant block? Hockenson seemed to be the more complete TE
Our TEs are a big question mark health wise, but they are all inline TEs....Fant gives us exactly what we needed and that is a weapon that teams are going to have a hard time covering with a LB or S.
Such a great pick! And really a good sign that our other TEs are on the right path as well.....mainly because Fant is such a different TE then what's on our roster now.
Fant is actually ok at blocking I think because TJ was an absolute beast in the run game Noah got more slack in that area than warranted. But no doubt Noah has a much higher ceiling as a receiving threat than Hock. I would have preferred Hock overall, but if I had the choice of Hock at 10 vs getting Noah and an extra 2nd and 3rd I love it
The good news is that Munchak is on board. Blocking is a skill that can be taught. Natural talent isn't.
Broncos selected Iowa TE Noah Fant with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Denver traded down with the Steelers from No. 10 to here at 20, picking up the 52nd pick in the draft and a 2020 third-rounder. Fant (6’4/249) and T.J. Hockenson formed one of the top tight end tandems in NCAA history, the former setting an Iowa record in TDs (19) at the position despite going pro early. Fant was a consensus 2018 first-team B1G pick and finished his career with 78 receptions for 1,083 yards, averaging 13.9 yards per catch. An athletic phenom, Fant destroyed the forty (4.50), vertical (39 ½"), and three cone (6.81) in Indy after measuring in with an 80-inch wingspan. "He runs by everybody when you watch him," NFL Net’s Daniel Jeremiah observed. Fant’s inconsistent blocking and hands are his drawbacks after dropping 11-of-80 catchable targets over the past two years. Otherwise, Fant’s on-field skill set is reminiscent of Aaron Hernandez.
Ugh, another stinking high round TE pick. Denver can't pick TEs, they waste picks every year on TEs. There isn't a better players in the first round?! Give me a break.
When was the last time we spent a high pick on a TE? Huerman is the highest I can recall and he was a late 3rd round pick.
I hoping for the best from Fant but he reminds me of an Eric ebron. Athletically gifted but has some stone hands. 14% drop rate scares me by if they can find a way to fix that than he could be solid but teaching a guy to catch at this point will take some good coaching.
