Jones (6’3/281) made 37 starts across three seasons in Columbus, earning first-team All-B1G in 2018 and graduating with 22 career TFLs and ten sacks. Also a plus run stopper, Jones was PFF College’s No. 1-graded defensive tackle in the Big Ten last season, leading the conference in QB pressures (52) by an interior lineman. (The next-closest DT had 29.) Jones is light in the pants for a three-down NFL player, however, and disappointingly tested as a 25th-percentile athlete in Indy. Ultimately, Jones best projects as a gap-shooting specialist in the Tom Johnson mold.

He’s not so solid against the run but Fangio can change that.
Anyway he is a pass rusher and this pick has John Elway written all over it!sigpic

Just saying because you said leak
Your post is #1356. He probably meant to quote #1359.
I read and saw what was happening. I know you didn't leak anything.Administrator

He’ll force QBs to the outside to Von and Chubb.
This IMO is a very solid if not spectacular pick! :thumb:sigpic

On the heels of giving in and drafting a project QB with good arm strength, horrible footwork, and questionable accuracy these last two picks have taken a downturn for me. Drew Lock is not even as good as Josh Rosen. Excited by the first two picks though.

Don’t be disappointed, you’ve gotta give these picks time to develop and I think they’ll develop into great players for us.
Denver needed interior pass rush and hopefully now they’ve got it and he’ll have plenty of help from S Harris and Bradley Chubb playing next to him.
If Ed Oliver were on the board at 10 I think he’d be a bronco however we most likely would not have Risner but now we’ve got both Risner and Fant!
Lock will develop in time and Dre’mont Jones will develop sooner with Fangios guidance!sigpic
