I know most will disagree with me....but I would not be opposed to going back to back WRs in this draft. If we get Jeudy, Lamb or Ruggs in first....if Shenault or Mims is there with our pick in 2nd....I would pull the trigger and look to trade Hamilton and/ or Freeman.

Only problem with that pick would be taking Herbert over Simmons. Mike Mayock is not nearly as stupid as the Raiders previous general managers. They will likely do a good job again this year.

Yes. The Raiders had a sketchy track record, but they've changed things around, and probably more so going forward with Mayock on the decision-making crew. They now look for skill and character, which sounds almost anti Raiders!

Simmons' stock is rising in a similar fashion to what Devin White's did a year ago, and he ended up going 5th overall.

Most mocks I've seen also have 2-3 OTs off the board before the Broncos pick too.

I could see all 4 of the big name OTs off the board. It appears at this point the BPA will be a WR.

I feel like Simmons will go even sooner than was expected before The Combine. He is an eye opener, and some teams who might have passed on him, are now rethinking. I would say we would have to sell the farm to move up and acquire him. He will not make it to 10, but there's a chance he goes by 5.

And if he goes closer to 10, The Raiders would be all over it. They need an ILB and WR. I'm sure they'd leap at Simmons, and leave a pick for one of those abundant WRs.

I absolutely would. We have a ton of extra picks. Our Derwin James is an answer to every pass catching RB and tight end. A weakness immediately becomes a strength. A bronco fan can dream. Please get Derwined lol

Clemson defender Isaiah Simmons ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, posted a 39-inch vertical and hit an 11-foot broad jump.

All of Simmons' marks are fairly ridiculous. His 4.39-second time in the 40-yard dash is the third-fastest time for any off-ball LB in combine history. Additionally, his 11-foot broad jump ties him for the fifth best distance of all combine LBs since 2006. The fact that Simmons managed to do all of this in a 6-foot-4 and 238-pound frame makes the accomplishments even more amazing. Clemson's do-it-all defender cemented his status as a top-10 pick with his showing at the combine.

(This should be our top focus, and I would even attempt to trade up if he slips like Ed Oliver did last year).

Another guy who balled out yesterday was who Logan Wilson I am gonna have to look into him more he looks like he could be a really good backer

I am a Wyoming resident, Logan Wilson is a stud. He tackles everything too. I don't know where he falls but 4th or 5th round would be a really solid pick.

1. CeeDee Lamb, WR
2. Trevon Diggs, CB
3. Raekwon Davis, DL
3. Matt Hennessy, IOL
3. Lucas Niang, OT

Just off this alone, this would be an A+ draft, IMO.

I sure would be happy with it, assuming we had some solid FA or traded for OT
